Oct. 3, 20: AutomaticWin, More Hive Struggles, Napping, and Games

Tonight was a rough one. Up at three and a solid two and a half hours short. I woke up and needed to use the bathroom, but the wife was snoring and nudging her only changed the style, didn’t make it quit, so I couldn’t get back to sleep. 😢

I was wiped out basically the entire day, felt kinda dizzy and the whole nine yards. Wenche has an appointment in town, so I laid down and caught about an hour’s nap in the morning.

The early routine was anything but routine. Four days now I’ve been fighting to do much of anything on chain.

Still been getting the spinning wheel of loading death on Hivesigner.

Everyone says to never mind Hivesigner and use Keychain, but in order to use it, I have to use HiveWallet. That’s fine, but any time I change site or account I have to reimport my keys...imported my keys at least a dozen times the past two days. 🤬

I will admit, when it works, Keychain is a lot nicer and smoother to use. Even then, after getting my keys in again, I end up with very human readable errors like this:

I think my main frustration with it is everyone seems to think it’s my fault for having an iPhone...no-one’s terribly concerned that it’s shitty to use the chain on mobile. On top of that, it’s just sort of taken for granted that things won’t work properly when there’s a fork...this should not be an expectation, let alone one that is consistently fulfilled.

Honestly getting sour to the point of saying screw Hive, but I suppose this too shall pass...in too deep anyway. 😝

Been a very slack exercise week! I think I’ve only been out once properly. 🤭 Today I headed out, though, and scored a #AutomaticWin. 🏆

Chilly and overcast morning. Fall is starting set in for real now.

Headed out right about with the sunrise. Not a bad start, despite the coldness.

Warmed up a bit once the sun got going. This would have been an amazing shot if it weren’t for their damn spraying!

After my short nap, Wenche got home and we spent some together time and then I went over to Crimsonclad’s Show on MSP Waves for a little while talking about augmented reality and “mediocre pussy.” 😂😝

Otherwise, can’t point to anything that I accomplished for the day, fought with trying to get HE transactions through and failed, that’s about it.

We made some homemade pizza for dinner and watched Daybreak on Netflix. That’s my kinda’ show! 😍 Sorta’ dark, but funny...good stuff. I was so tired, though, that I passed out around eight.

Once again, another successful day on Holybread. I have to say I’m thankful that it has a persistent log in, I would have been out of luck otherwise.

Still, got my tasks done without much of a problem and almost got enough gold saved up to renew my potions already!

Getting knocked around a bit, but pushed it up a little for today. Top twenty holding strong.

Holy crap! I finally got in to CryptoBrewmaster. I have all my ingredients to get, so it’s going to be a while again, but I was able to get my ranking.

Today was the first day of my break from playing Splinterlands, and the first day I didn’t play at all. Do I feel bad about missing out on being frustrated and disappointed? To be honest, not really.
