Oct. 1, 20: Posting, Hive Troubles, PUD, Xbox, Laps, and Games

Miracle of miracles! I slept a solid night with even half hour bonus! I guess it was pretty early the night before cause I was still up slightly past six.

Went to do the usual morning routine, but it wasn’t very usual. For one thing, was surprised to see a massive dump on HIVE! All the way down to 1150 Sats! 😱

Popped right back up, but continued right on with its downward trajectory. 😭

There was some big news about a collaboration between Hive and another blockchain project, but I didn’t catch any specifics, just that they were looking at working together (maybe building their apps on HIVE? 🤷‍♂️).

Luckily, I was able to post without much trouble, but then...

Seems like glitches were popping up all over the place on the chain again today. For quite a while I had the joy of 0 HP.

Then couldn’t complete even basic ops like claiming rewards! 😡 I really hope this means we’re getting the kinks worked out BEFORE the fork and that it will go smoothly...only time will tell.

Got to give mad props to @deathwing, though. Been super active keeping that node functioning properly. Definitely earned my witness vote!

Since Hivesigner isn’t working, I couldn’t do anything on HE, so I tried to use keychain on HiveWallet again. I got it working and it was fantastic, way less clicks!!!!

I got my HIVEP out and powered up myself and Solairitas for Hive Power Up Day! 😁

Then it asked me to import my keys again, and again, and again. I ended up importing keys like four or five times and remembered why it was unusable before.

Played some more Division on the Xbox for most of the afternoon other than chatting on Discord. I popped one cheevo for ten gamerscore, but still grinding out side missions with easier enemies.

Sadly, posting, Xbox, and laps was pretty much my entire day other than struggling with the chain and not even being able to check balance.

In the evening Wenche made pasta and meat sauce for dinner. 😋 I had tons of steps left yet again, and so did my laps. Really pushing close to my all time streak, only five days left!!! Not only that, I’m pushing 200 consecutive days. 💪

I played my Splinterlands quest while I was “walking” and then we watched some of The Worst Witch on TV...and another day goes wooosh.

We’ve got guys coming tomorrow to look at replacing the furnace. Hopefully that all goes well. 🤞

Once again, another robberyless day in my dCity! Woot! And knock on wood! 🤗🤑

Got my Holybread tasks done too! 🤩 Been doing alright the past couple days on getting the wins I need, but still tough in the arena.

Got spoiled I suppose being in the top ten for so long. I guess I kinda’ knew it was too good to last long. Still top twenty, though, so nothing to shake a stick at.

Hivesigner is still just a spinny wheel, and despite trying at least three times to get in through HiveWallet, Im still unable to get into CryptoBrewmaster, so no progress and no idea what my rank is. 😢

They’re changing up a bunch of stuff as well because people were abusing the Google sign in and farming...birth pangs, I guess.
