To me, there isn’t much worse than seeing a blown fuse on some electrical equipment ...

... or power line and not knowing what caused it. Closing in the new fuse has me second guessing my Sherlock Holmes of Linework efforts. As I stand there shaking my head wondering what could have caused the fuse to blow, then reassuring myself I looked at everything. I close it in... a couple times I have had a them blow again, sending the sound of a shotgun blast echoing through the countryside. For some reason whenever that happens I crack up laughing. Not just a giggle, I am talking a a real LOL!! Then I say, “Crap!! There is something really wrong!” At this point the problem is obvious because it has now been blown apart. Out of the couple times this has happened there would have been no way of knowing the problem existed. Electricity does some very weird things. Here is a little video of the Sherlock Holmes of Linework figuring out what blew the fuse.

Normally the bird or feathers are right next to the pole. These we found about 20 feet from the pole. I guess the coyote was hungry and just couldn’t wait to start digging into that fried bird. Lol
