That is awesome! We normally do it 12 days before xmas and then take it down 12 days after... and this year, we will be doing a traditional tree, but last year we did something totally out of the box! which I shared in the comments of the AMAZINGLY FESTIVE POST that @dswigle made earlier today :)
Ein schön geschmückter Tannenbaum, wie dieser, ist ein anregender Anblick. In Kindertagen wird da jede Menge Vorfreude geweckt. In der heutigen Zeit muß das nicht einmal ein Naturbaum sein, es gibt mittlerweile ausgesprochen schöne Kunstbäume.
Ich glaube das ist ein Echter und ich werde das nochmal überprüfen.
Du wirst lachen, dieser Kindheitstraum bzw. viele Kindehitsträume aka viel Bäume stehem hier vor einen asiastischen Lokal ;-) Finde ich echt klasse.
Bei uns zu Hause wird der Baum erst an Heilig Abend dekoriert. Ich liebe den Geruch von echten Nadeln ;-)
Genau so machen wir das auch. Bisher war es immer ein echter Baum, mit möglichst weichen Nadeln. Geschmückt mit einfarbigen Kugeln, mal Silber, blau oder dunkelrot, ein paar Strohsterne und ausreichend (elektrischen) Kerzen, wegen der kleinen Kinder, und was zu naschen.
Haha. Genau so kenne ich das auch. Bei uns im Schwabenland werden die Kugelfarben auch gerne gemischt das ist dann ein Bauernweihnachtsbaum. Strohsterne dürfen natürlich nicht fehlen und alle paar Jahre sogar mal Lametta ;-)

We still have to put our tree up... but we only bought it yesterday haha!
My own christmas tree will be decorated at christmas eve afternoon.
