6 Pushups! Four of those were okay and two so and so. Better do proper kettlebell ...

... training this Sunday and especially military presses so that I can get to my target before the Get In Shape Challenge ends.

I selected pushups for my challenge because I need the upper body strength. If, by the end of 6 weeks, or perhaps it's only five now, I can pushup 20, I'm happy. Toes on the floor, not knees. If I manage to do more, that would be awesome. Perhaps even hand stand without touching the wall. Or hand stand pushups! 😁
Well, perhaps 6 weeks isn't enough for that to happen.

I thought it would be useless for me to weigh myself on a scale because if I do achieve what I'm aiming for I will probably weigh more than now because muscles are heavier than... dunno... loose skin? Heavier than not muscle. 😁💪 I should probably measure my shoulders or chest with a measuring tape because that is where the result will most likely show, but I'm not going to do that. 🤨🤔🤪

So what I am going to measure and track is the amount. How many today, how many tomorrow or the day after that and so on. That is something quite easy to measure, see and count. How many pushups.

Got 6.

14 more in a row to get to my target.

Added two stickers to my pushup video because I wanted to try stickers. You will never guess where the stickers are.

Maybe if you do them faster you can get more in one go? That strain with the last one two, I could just feel that. Almost like seeing someone be kicked in the nuts :) Good work so far now I bet after you pull your face like those dudes on the door there. haha.

If I do it faster then my technique would suffer. I will do it faster as soon as I can get more strength to maintain the proper position and technique. And as I am, or at least I think I am, a fitness instructor, I would hate to do things wrong and leave it like that. I have to try to do it perfectly and when I spot a mistake, I will have to point that out. I would hate it if another instructor would see that or a personal trainer and think that I'm okay with a little off (or majorly off) technique.

Like this guy in this video where the looks and the voice do not match at all. The narrator says that it's him doing the pushups but I'm not buying it. The voice is not a young guys voice.

Anyway, I better correct the position of my arms too. Didn't notice that before. Too wide. So perhaps next time I won't be pushing up that 6 as the narrower hands is harder...

That's why I fancied the faces. Those are like me when pushing up.
