... It was good to see Anita who is doing her master's at the New York Academy of Fine Arts and she is among the 20% who have to claw their way up. She has had so many problems from getting a visa to finding a dwelling. Her partner David works in the animation industry and has been instrumental in funding this dream. I just came back from her studio where she gave me a ton of supplies including frames and canvases. I am extremely grateful for this and will do my best to make art which will do her proud.
