Me recordingšŸŽ¤šŸŽ§ a song called ā€œPast Lifeā€ . The song is about lovers who meet up ...

avatar

... every other century or so. They are reincarnated as humans again and again and somehow meet up throughout history. In this the first verse they are Adam and Eve....with a twist and a few Dancehall imageries. How did I get the idea for this song ? It was the name given to the beat by @mrfloridakeyz. The song is not mixed or mastered, what you are hearing is a rough mix. The chorus needs some serious surgery, but nothing a studio engineer canā€™t fix up ( I am not a singer šŸ˜…) . I was trying a thing with the high pitched voice to add a little harmony to the chorus but itā€™s kinda of mehšŸ˜ . Any studio engineer willing to work for JAHM & STEEM to mix and master this track? PS: Iā€™ll post the full video on ReggaeTube.io another time.

aren't you a singer @dmilliz?
I'm not even close to that ha ha ha

But it doesn't sound bad, the Latin, Caribbean beat is there, some hip hop... and pointing the beat with your hands... a classic.

But the beat will get anyone who hears it moving their head.

LOl well I do not consider myself a signer but more of a rapper/dee jay. You are right, it doesn't sound bad, and with a little fine tuning it will sound even better. You really caught all the elements of the creation, thanks man.

Yeah, the beat makes the song, I see why producers make most of the money LOL.

Respect bro. I just need to be more consistent and create more often so I can skill up.

Whoops. Accidentally posted with @urchinsteve account as he asked me to manage it at times for him.

The most important thing in this type of urban genre is the flow, which you master very well.
You also have a great voice my bredda.

Stay blessed.
