These things don’t happen to you until it does!! What started as a ecstatically ...

... annoying skintag, grew into an angry, uncomfortable, inflamed swell. The doctor explained on the why’s and what’s but I was stuck at how he was going to cut it out and the wound would need 2 to 3 stitches. “Now?”. “No, first I’ll give you anaesthetic and then in about 5 minutes”, he says with a smile. That means NOW!!. All done and I am feeling woozy and will sleep it off. Lesson learnt. a stitch in time saves nine and in this case, Doc says if I had come sooner, the scar would have not been noticeable compared to what could now be.... oh well, it’s a story to tell

I hope these stitches will heal nice and not infect too. Nasty place. Doctors here would not do it themselves. Means appointment hospital - waiting 3 weeks up to 3 months - etc. Noticed I have a big bump too. It is caused by the injection given in hospital and only gets bigger. Shouldn't that be gone after 8 days? I wish you a fast recovery 💕

If I had gone to the General hospital, this would have been the procedure...
The consultation, then an appointment 3 months down the line
I have one coming up on Monday for the results of my cholesterol... and the initial plan was to get an appointment then

But it was really starting to swell and the itch mixed with the tightness of the skin around that area, I decided I will at least get a consultation form a private doctor to see if there was anything to worry about....
So, I honestly was a little surprised that he was ready to cut it out on the spot

It is still kinda bleeding, so I am not sure this is supposed to be normal as he has asked me to come back on Friday to change the dressing....
But I might just go a little later to get it sorted
Oh, and in case you are wondering, he used to work in OT when he was practicing in a hospital before he opened his own clinic... so fingers crossed I am in good hands

A bump from an injection.... I don't think I have heard this one before... and even then.. yeah, I would think it should be gone by now...hmmmmm
Do you not want to go back to check it out?

And thank you for the well wishes <33

I will be staying in hospital tomorrow again and ask how or what.

Once had a doctor who was allowed to do small surgeries. He told me he was one of the less. They have to keep practicing and extra lessons a year.
Most doctors nowadays their only job is to write prescriptions or a letter for a specialist. They do not know you if you come back 1 week later as told.

I think its normal, the bit of bleeding.
You are lucky with that doctor. We have no free choice. Has to be one in your area plus they all work in groups, parttime and small chance you ever meet yours.

That's so different from how it is here
Hmmmm.... I guess yes, to have a choice is good

Wishing you all the best with your hospital visit ❤️
