There was a Bitcoin faucet back then where they were giving away five Bitcoin to anyone who wanted some.
You could also mine on a computer and I was ridiculed by everyone around me for believing in the future of cryptocurrency.
I have 25 Bitcoin somewhere that is either lost, stolen on mtgox or thrown out when a family member got rid of that "useless" old computer I was mining on.
