Binge-watched Ascendance of a Bookworm!

So for this weekend, the anime that I binge-watched was the anime "Ascendance of a Bookworm". This is one of the many anime's I have downloaded in the past but is just now watching. XD

What the anime is all about?!

Well to put it simply, it's like a light version of the anime "Dr. Stone" but instead of a character with an in-depth scientific knowledge of almost everything, we instead get an isekai'd young girl who would use his 'simple knowledge' from the present world to CREATE BOOKS in the other world. BOOKSSSSSS! XD

Now, you might think it's boring and in all honesty the first few episodes were indeed a little boring (at least for me) but it's one of those anime that's a little bit boring but is still 'okay' to watch. Like watching some episodes of "Pokemon" where nothing much is really going on and yet surprisingly we can still finish the whole ep. XD

Anyways after reading the title of this anime, I was honestly expecting it to be somewhat similar to the manhua "Lang Huan Library". A manhua where the main character was accidentally appointed as the dean of the divine Lang Huan Library which also happens to be a long lost power powerful sect in the past.

I was expecting this anime to have some 'cultivators' and thus was expecting some battles after seeing the word 'ascend' (which is often used on most Chinese mangas) but unfortunately there is little to no-fights in here but still it's an okay anime. XD

To my surprise though near the end of the Season 1, it seems there is 'magic' in this series so we might see some fight scenes and action in the near future. XD
