Meet Beetle Boris from Italy. I thought he would be a great blog topic for the contest by @whatisnew.

We met Boris when we found this big beetle on our terrace in Italy last week. He was big so in the first case I was very shocked when I saw him. But it's cool to photograph up close a large insect! Difficult also because he wasnt sitting still but this is the FINAL result.
