An Intruder. Surprise!

IMG_0527.JPG

I had just come in from outside, taken off my coat, and grabbed a coffee. As I walked into the next room, I was startled by a small face, startled like when a snake crosses your path. Only it wasn't a snake.

It was a cat, in my house.
I don't have a cat.

Nonchalantly, she tiptoed down the stairs acting like she belonged, acting innocent.

"Lizzy, what are you doing here?" I knew her name from here collar. She must have sneaked in when I was moving boxes. I cleaned up the spilt coffee. What was she doing upstairs?

She didn't seem to have any of my stuff on her. I tried to take her mugshot but she avoided me like a pro. "Lizzy, this is your first warning." I let her go, this time...

I think so! I was in the thick of it today, identifying about a gazillion cables in my office.

They sure are. She's a nice cat and she lives around here somewhere...

She wasn't there long enough. Just having a good snoop around, I think.
