Blog Update - "What's happening in front of our faces" [warning: contains cynical threats]

A friend of a friend was reading some of my previous posts and made the comment, "it is interesting times of change whether for a good or bad agenda. Let's hope we can stay awake and conscious during this time and not be led astray by unusual stories which may be covering the truth of what's really happening right in front of us"

I just decided to let her have it.

Here is my response:

Well that's a bit of not-putting-your finger-on-something-directly if ever I did see it. There's a lot going on that isn't being said.

Statistically there are 10 deaths in total in WA [Western Australia]. We've just shut down the economy for 10 deaths. Fremantle has closed and most businesses will never reopen. Businesses are going bankrupt by the dozen. The Jobkeeper initiative by the government is unreachable to most small businesses because they cannot pay their employees 4-8 weeks in advance and then get the rebate from the government, because they're all already flat broke [or in massive debt]. They have to be paying the people in advance to then apply for the rebate as this rebate comes in cycles of 4-8 weeks at irregular intervals. As much as the government is promising, it's not a reality.

This is the 'reality' that is happening in front of us.

Statistics are being deliberately increased to count more deaths to covid internationally - this is not an 'unusual story', this is the reality, it's mainstream news and publicly accessible material -
https://peakd.com/hive-122315/@krnel/countries-admit-they-re-inflating-covid-19-death-counts

A deadly pandemic however [note: I did not deny the existence of the virus itself, don't worry my kooky little friend], is the one thing that is actually NOT going on in front of our faces. Except of course if you have your nose deep in the mainstream media; those SHOULD be the 'unusual stories' you're hinting at.

So, be more direct next time, it's kinder. I'm not a stupid person and if someone treats me like a child with this kind of comment, they're bound to get a chip in the nose. I've come to my conclusions through intuitive observation of society and deductive reasoning. NOT by watching a single conspiracy youtube video and then suddenly believing it.

If on the other hand, you would like to discuss something I have said, please show me exactly the point you wish to discuss and we will commence an intelligent adult-like conversation.

Or maybe you've been warned about fake news without realising that this news of fake news is just another facet of the currently effective mainstream media propaganda machine:

Yes friend, there ARE strange stories out there, I'm not privy to believe them. But thank you graciously for your insincere concern for my wellbeing!

[end of transmission from the galactic goo]

I could turn this entire thread into a saga because there are so many points that could be covered under the 'What's happening in front of our faces' theme, but instead I will leave you with this brilliant piece of satire by @mattclarke - https://peakd.com/anarchy/@mattclarke/you-and-the-people-you-know-are-fine-but-the-people-you-don-t-know-are-stupid-and-dangerous

I even tipped him 10 Hive, that's how brilliant it is! So you better go and read the post! I just paid for the fucking subscription!

If you're a friend or family member that does NOT have the capacity to question the current situation and use your own self-willed developed powers of deductive reasoning. Please unfriend me now. Seeing as I'm not on facebook - it's as simple as pressing the 'unfriend' button in your mind. [wow, so easy! Well if you're on my mailing list, you can unsubscribe - speaking of which: hello new reader! Thank you for coming to my blog! Subscribe to my mailing list by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line - 'Put me on your list, mofo!']

If on the other hand you choose instead to press the treat-Monty-with-overbearing-passive-aggressive-sympathy-for-the-rest-of-his-reasonable-existence-because-I've-deemed-personally-via-my-superior-judgement-he-is-mentally-ill-due-to-him-not-accepting-the-popular-mass-fed-narrative button...

I will find you!

I will sense your insincerity and spite you by pressing the silent 'unfriend' button in MY mind!

I will also commit myself to haunting you when I am dead!

[which by the way, death happens, it's a thing - ha, we thought we'd just live forever! 🙃 "Whoa man! Isn't a society that capitilizes on fear of death just buckets of fun?!", we should just invite all our alien neighbours from outer space to join us on this lovestruck adventure..

into the depths of hell...]

[note: I have a very brash, dark and often sardonic sense of humour. This has sometimes been misconstrued. People taking me seriously, for some precocious reason, precipitates a need to treat me like a child while an adult size form stands in front of them. Sympathy, to this mind, is the grandest of patronisations - it's one reason I spend so much time alone self-isolating even when not in a jacked up 'epidemic', because I am a very intelligent person with a survival level sense for sincerity within communication [sincerity - ah! the lost oasis in the desert!]. One day, I'll find my tribe of brilliant, handsome, cynically intelligent people and frolic in the fields of love forever-more. Until then, the level of actual intelligence within my sphere of influence is minimal at best - don't be the patronizer and get yourself pinned in the middle to lower echelons of the Monty's Friend's Hierarchy of Intelligence Scale!]

Don't do it

It's time to sign out, I've already said enough

[just going to inject some Dettol to save me from germs, then insulate my body with toilet paper before go for a walk in the park and speak to the fairies I start seeing because of injecting Dettol]

"Nature, she's wonderful isn't she? The animals listen... talk to them, they are your friends..." [soft smooth synth track goes here]

Thanks for the shout-out, Monty. Glad you liked it.
Hard to get the subtlety just right. I've had a few people miss it. You may also enjoy this one.

Wow this is a great quote. I feel a world of expectation to now objectify all my thinking from feeling in order to operate my reality via remote by which I can see all things clearly and at a distance. Sounds like social distancing for thoughts! Oh no! 🤣

Haha, what to do? Has this whole situation got you in stitches?

I read your other article and was at first taken aback and then settled in my seat for the entertainment.

It's certainly a qualifier for intelligence when someone gets your humour.

When that all too well known patronizing sympathy comes along, it's a red flag for IDIOT.

It's half the reason we use this humour, to qualify attentive sensitive company that can see more than what is in front of their faces.

Love the ending... well, I'd like to develop more humour like this. Do you mind if we reflect articles off each other in order to refine the craft?

I'll tag you in my next adventure! Until then, Bon Appetit!

Feel free, mate. It's the slippery slope. Start with their position, then twist the screws inexorably, making the actual consequences of that line of thinking burst through the surface; like squeezing a zit. Very satisfying to write :)

I like the way you describe it.

I've put a priority stamp on it in the office in my head, now I wait for the filing fee to arrive in the mail, then I must get approval from the ego (there's five total in that panel), which will take another few days and soon enough it will be off to join the extremely large pile of self-expectation requests in which about a three week wait period is suggested.

I'll try and push this one through earlier. But yeah, no promises. It's the government after all.

for the [insert track here] bit, I was thinking of something like Jim Morrison's "Bird of Prey"

and for @mattclarke's piece.. I shall refer to them as "those we don't speak of"

great reads you guys :)

haha I enjoyed your sarcasm in your post. I was hoping you'd get my reference to the movie "The Village". It's about an imminent threat that lies beyond the woods that only the elders know about, everybody in the village is scared so shitless, they don't even talk about... them. Except for the non-dumb one that puts two and two together.

I don't watch the balanced news sources stories because it's.... extremely dangerous to my democracy.

Also, I need to brush up on my sarcasm.

Oh, yes, I watched the village once... the premise was interesting but the movie was terrible.

haha

If you care to write a sarcastic/cynical/sardonic post, please tag me in it and I will read it with glee!
