Dutch Dessert at De Blauwe Hollander

When I took a trip to Amsterdam with @brennanwalsh we stopped at De Blauwe Hollander for a traditional Dutch meal on our way to The Rijksmuseum. For an entree, I ordered Stamppot which is a classic Dutch dish which consists of a mix of mashed potatoes and vegetables topped with meat and gravy. De Blauwe Hollander served up a few different kinds of Stamppot. I ordered Endive Stamppot with bacon bits and a gigantic meatball on top. It was delicious and truly filling. I left the restaurant completely satisfied.

For dessert, I ordered the yogurt and custard topped with red berry sauce. It was a creamy and delicious dessert that was not overwhelmingly sweet or rich. A great end to a delicious Dutch meal. Click here to get a load of that deliciousness!
