Christmas Market in the City
Hey all!
My last Christmas Market post took place at my mother-in-law’s private residence and it went pretty well for her.
It was bad weather, Sunday of the dead (Toten Sonntag), and she was competing with a neighboring towns market but she was happy with the amount she sold.
She didn't sell it all though, and was planning on that, so she rented out a stall to sell the rest of her Christmas decorations in a nearby city’s Christmas market.
After the afternoon nap my wife and our three kids piled in the van and drove out to the city to show some support and eat crepes of course!
The market was crazy packed. We couldn't even talk to my mother-in-law because there were so many people around her booth.
After two years of living here, I am still not used to the pushy and rude crowds. In the United States, people are much more considerate and I had to fight an old lady to get a spot on the carousel for my son.
Once we got our crepes we went to watch the band play a little Feliz Navidiad. They were really good!
It wasn’t long before the kids and us had had enough. We said hi to a few friends and family there and then we were off back home to sit by the fire and watch Frozen on Disney plus.

Looks cool bro! Oh, also I hope you busted out some killer moves on that old lady during your fight for that carousel...In reality she probably had no chance but you gotta watch those grannies mate, sometimes they know how to fight Jason Bourne style.
Seems like a nice time spent with the family though, and who doesn't relish an opportunity to vanquish a grannie!
