The Lady and the Bee!

She is a Painted Lady and she had a special guest on this day.

A Happy Friday to all and I hope that this post will bring some brightness into your lives.

Yes, there are some battles in crypto land, but there are also battles in life and what we have learned is to go through all of the struggles with inner peace and happiness. Life is a dream and we all are here on earth only for a short while, even though to us it feels like a lifetime.
I hope that this post will lift your spirits.

She said to mister bee that he could have that flower as there was enough to share.
417.jpg

And they had a lovely lunch time together.
419.jpg

Mister bee greeted her politely as he prepared to leave.
418.jpg

As a gift mister bee left her his shadow on a flower below.
420.jpg

Meantime the locust pastor was watching this and he new what he was going to preach about on Sunday. Sharing is caring.

So yeah, soon this butterfly and the bee will be no more. There is a children song "Row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream".
Have you ever considered the real underlying meaning of the words?
Just as the lives of the butterfly and the bee are short, so it is with our own time here on earth, "Live is but a dream"

How do you row your life boat? Gently and merrily, or grudgingly and sadly?

And That's All Friends!

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you enjoyed the story and the pictures.

Thank you kindly for supporting a post by @papilloncharity

Thank you JJ, we have things a bit crazy here with all of the work.
This Saturday morning Marian's boss who visited us yesterday sent us a message that he might have picked up Covid, as a person that he visited previously phoned to tell him that he was Covid positive.

So her boss will now go for a test and he will let us know if he is positive.
In the meantime I have told Marian to arrange for us also to go for testing.

Cheers and !BEER

Thank you and I spoke to him today JJ.
Reassured him that we don't blame him and that it was not his fault, as he didn't know that the other person was infected.
He will get his test results tomorrow morning, so let's see how it goes mate.

Thank you Lady Joan and yes, the locusts can certainly create havoc.
Thankfully I heard that they have always appeared isolated here in the Cape.

Glad that you liked the post.

We drove through them about a mile wide crossing the main road down to the Cape in 1977 never seen them hopping like an army invading the lands. Something one will never forget either!

Have a great day, warm sunny day coming to an end, off to walk Woody before his evening meal.

Oh? You saw them here in the Cape? A farmer told me that they have never had problems with them.
But maybe he meant in this region as the climate is Meditteranian and that might have something to with it.

First dry day also here, but getting colder and the rain will return at 1am in the morning.

We saw them higher up in the Karroo, they were in full swing crossing the road, quite an experience to drive through critters that just keep coming...

Cooler today, still sunshine and hopefully some rain arrives.

Yes, we also saw clouds of them in Botswana and amazing how they clean out an entire land in a day.

By now your weather should be cold and rainy methinks.

I love bees and I love butterflies and the ones you have captured are looking lovely together, Zac 👍😀

The locust is looking so serious - maybe he also takes care that the two nectar collectors make no nonsense 😉

!BEER and !WINE - both make a nice dinner with !PIZZA :)

I wonder how they pay the locust for his protection services ? 🤣
But I think that you will know, as mountain goats know everything 😜

Cheers and thanks.

Yep, I do know that of course. Actually he doesn't get paid. He does this voluntarily because he's tired of all the arguments about food 🤣
