Friday is Squirrel Day.

555.jpg

Now how can you not love that little face? Look how happy and thankful he is.

A Happy Friday to all and yes, another week is now history.

Time flies nowadays and I wonder if there are not some hidden winds that are blowing the planet to spin faster lol.
In any case here are some views to enjoy of our @Hive squirrel tribe today. We hope that all of our supporters and friends will have a great Friday.

It was the usual as we arrived home with the car from a charity meeting they came running. Luckily we keep nuts in our pockets at all times.
542.jpg

So each of them selected their normal spots to sit and eat, but the doves also know where they sit and this dove was hoping for a bite.
551.jpg

Oh, I forget, as the squirrel in the first picture lives in the high palm tree and he was sitting here on his patio.
556.jpg

Of course the leader of the family has his own spot and beware any other squirrel that comes near it when he is eating.

I have to say that we seriously miss "Squirry" as she was the grandmother of this lot and sadly we have accepted that she is no more.
I feel for Marian when she opens the door every morning and she hopes that the squirrel waiting for her is Squirry. They had a very close relationship, as squirry used to climb all over Marian and it was so great to see. But since then we have not encouraged close contact with any of the other new squirrel litters.

And That's All Friends!

Hahaha, @johannpiber solved the mystery, as I got into bed with my genuine Eskimo fur hat (made in China) still on my head. During the night Marian thought it was a bear sleeping next to her and she forced me to take it off.
The hat must have felt aggrieved and the next morning it tripped me 🤣
An eye for an eye so to speak and I have to teach that hat how to turn the other cheek.

@farm-mom is a kind lady and I am glad that she substitued the shotgun with a water pistol.

I only wonder what @meesterboom would have to say about all of this, as he can come out with the craziest of things 🤣

Cheers and !PIZZA

Ha, I remember many worse incidents in your life my friend.
So a furry hat in bed is chicken feed for you :)

This hat is alive - have you ever noticed that it's on another place than you have thought you had put it he day before? Have you ever missed any food from the fridge? Are you sure the birds of prey are guilty when you miss a squirrel from time to time?

Now what's this police detective talk all of a sudden mate.
There's 3 questions here and I claim my human rights to remain silent until my lawyer arrives 🤣

Oh! My lawyer has just called to say the cannot come as he is in prison 😎

So, I will answer your questions vaguely with my own questions.
Are you saying that a ghost wears the hat at night? That the ghost eats the food in the fridge?
Do you infer that said ghost has a partiality for the taste of squirrels?

I hope that your lawyer is not also in jail 🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Well, my friend, I don't need no lawyer because you are right, it must be the ghost of your hat. Was it once one animal or even more? Maybe there are several ghosts in this hat and one is a squirrel eating cat 😸

!BEER and !PIZZA - nice 😃

Ah! You are right and I have to think about this.
That flap at the front of the hat could be the cat. The two ear flaps might be two squirrels and the main part of the hat might be pure goat skin 🤣

So the cat first eats from the fridge, then the cat chases the squirrels around and finally the goat takes the hat and places it where I can trip over it 🤣

They sing that "Understanding is the best thing in the world" a "Peanutbutter Conspiracy" song.

So now I have to book an appointment to see my witchdoctor who became famous when he made the world flat for his baby daughter to walk on without falling and then he made the world round again when she became a adult 😮😮😮

I am sure that he will find a solution for the goat to neatly place the hat on a table after the nights ghostly festivities 🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Haha, you're wearing many ghosts on your head, no wonder the hat is so warm and warms up your cold ears 🤣 and now you know how the hat came under your feet 😁
But I had not thought that they sing in a chorus - cool 👍

Maybe he needs to feed the goat with some old bones of the first goat that was climbing on a mountain because it wanted to see further than all the other goats 😎

Hahaha, no, I think that he will catch the goat and fry him to get more bones that he can use for his readings 🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Oh no, goat bones are not good for reading the future - if they were I would have bought quite some bitcoin 13 years ago 😎

!PIZZA and !BEER - sounds like a nice dinner :)

(Edited)

Hahaha, the bones first have to be put through a mystical process that you and I and even the scientists know nothing about. They bury the bones with the dead for the process to be enacted and then months later the bones are ready and they pop back up to the surface 😎😲😬😵👻💀☠️

Cheers and thanks.

This is what they claim my friend. I have never visited one, but my employees told me about them.
They are actually old medicinal doctors that uses natural stuff to heal people and their craft is ancient.
So I respect them as long as they heal people.

Cheers and thanks.

Maybe you should visit one of them with your injuries and the other health problems, but if he says that he will heal you using goat bones then you should run as fast as you can 🤣

The !PIZZA is out, but I still have a !BEER left - cheers :)

They have learned well as to where the food source is, Marian is like the Pied Piper of Squirrelville LOL...

Great to see all the young ones still make their way home Stephen.

Hahaha, her heart is very sore as we picked a shell up on the beach and brought it home, only for her to find that there's a little octopus inside.

I saw that Sparrow Hawk coming through here at high speed yesterday Lady Joan.
Not good news as the Gymnogene is also scouting as it is nesting time and we have the sunbirds, robins and the thrushes now either building, or already on the nests.

Blessings.
