What was going on in my life - Ahilion
I was on a Corfu vacation with my family. While we were there we visited the beautiful Achilles castle.
When you come to Corfu, one of the biggest attractions is the Achilles Palace. While touring Achillion Castle, you will come across a sign dedicated to the Serbian army and, at that time, in 1918, it was converted into a military hospital. Achilles is located 9 kilometers south of Corfu, near the village of Gasturi. At the end of the 19th century, the wife of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph Elizabeth decided to build a beautiful palace for herself. This place was recommended by teams of doctors who took care of her health, as they found that it was the place where the best climate for lung patients was. Sisi, as she was called by Elizabeth, spent most of her life here.

This looks like a very interesting vacation! I like the pictures and the one in the mirror is really cool. I had never heard of this place before but I'm glad you told us about it. I looked it up and read even more at wikipedia. Maybe I will get there someday!
