Ornaments

Assorted

It seems like an easy prompt to draw however for me, it was a struggle deciding which and what kind of ornaments to show. I did not have much time to analyze lest it will lead me to paralysis and may not create anything at all. Sometimes when I encounter such block I just let my hand do the thing and forget about what my mind decides upon. The starting point of my drawing is the orange circle in the middle. When it is hard to even start I blankly scribble some shapes and that helps me accomplish something and the idea will develop from there. There was no revision on the design as I just take it one detail at a time. Those smaller details on the background like the small berries and leaves plus the pine needles are just random doodles but they worked in my opinion. I just kept feeling the blank spaces until an area is filled and done. Since the background is already made before I doodle the details, there is nothing much I can do to edit it. That is not a hindrance though because the colors and the area they occupy actually helped me create the shapes or the concrete detail like the green holly leaf. That I made because I am seeing a bigger area of green on my right screen. I just went for it and next thing I know everything I did is just fit for the image I had in mind. Random no plan just spontaneous doodling. That is my process here unlike in my other entries. It was such a fun experience I am glad I did not get lazy and just went for it despite my lack of ideas.

Hope you like my entry today. Keep steeming on and have a good day to you all.

Thank you
@cjsean
