Busy Baking

I drew a boy who is busy kneading the dough on the table top. Behind him is a holiday tree that he decorated with random baubles found from his old storage. Next to that is a window from which an evergreen branch hangs and underneath is a curious cat looking outside maybe watching the stars. Below the cat is a stuffed toy and a wood fired oven from which the boy does his baking. He has got two large jars of flour placed by the mantle of the oven. This is my entry for today's theme of the advent challenge 2019 which is busy baking. My boys although young are now capable of helping me in the kitchen. They request what kind of baked goods they like and I research on it and in a few days we will bake it together. Fun bonding moment with kids had never been so fun and happy. This Christmas I am thinking of baking some fruit cakes and maybe brownies with lots of nuts and caramel. It is that time of the year to try what I had learned on my personal baking journey. I know my family and friends would appreciate it knowing that I did everything from scratch and from my own research with the help of my two kitchen assistants who happens to be my kids.

I made this art vibrant and colorful once again. It invigorates me just looking at it. If you like it feel free to give it a thumbs up you can even share it with your friends as a greeting card for this Christmas season.
