SteemPress is quite nice, I also recommend SteemFeed. Create a feed with all your posts, use the shortcode on a new page, then create a new page called "WordPress" then go to your reading settings and set the pages to fixed, front page as SteemFeed and blog as WordPress.

I'm already using SteemFeed but I put it in the right sidebar for the moment. Your idea sounds good. I will take a look. Thanks!
