My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2020 - 60

I took a day off going into the city today, and had a fairly quiet day for the most part, but I did get out for a walk mid-morning and will share a few shots from on the walk.

I will start with the last shot I took on my walk, this number 60

Why the number 60 you may ask, well it could be that the Vans Shoe company started 60 Years ago back in 1960, or it could be that back in 1960 the first Etch a Sketch was made and sold, but will talk more about why 60 at the end of the post.

But back to my walk, I went outside for the walk as it was a nice sunny day looking out the window and the temp was in the 40s, I wanted to make the most of it, I started the walk from home and headed down the road and through this tunnel under the railway tracks

And then through the cemetery, as you can see it was nice and sunny, but it was fairly windy and by the time I got to this spot the wind was really picking up gusting to 25 Miles an hour, so not as nice as I thought it would be but I kept on walking

And maybe I was missing catching the train as my walk took me by the train station and I walked along the platform by the train station

I had planned to only get out for about 5K steps, but at this point on the walk, I decided I wanted to get a shot of the number 60 and thought I would walk down some of the streets off the green looking for a house with the number 60, and I ended up walking up and down streets here and there and it was weird on most of the streets I walked down that had street numbers that went to 60 or above, on every street the number 60 spot on each street I went down was either vacant or did not have a house number, I kept trying for a while and ended up getting up to 10K steps without any luck finding the number 60.

But as I was heading home I was walking past a trash bin and noticed the number 60 on it and got the first shot.

Why 60

Well today, well now yesterday back in NZ where I was born, I turned 60 years old young :)

Thanks and LOL yes perhaps walking through a cemetery is probably not on everyones list of things to do on their birthday LOL
