The storm has arrived!!!🥶
Most people will tell you it isn’t that bad, and I will tell them... Yes...and No!🤔
The weather in the foothills of the Mountains is so different from the flatlands!
Before I retired I worked in the sleepy little town of Lynden a flatland town.
I remember many times chaining up to get down the Mountain!
Then upon arriving at work the roads were clear!😲
That’s what Silvertop had going on today!
treacherous 4WD ice packed roads at home and hardly a dusting down on the flats!🤔
They are calling for 5-8 inches tonight, we will see, nobody really is very accurate with Weather prediction...
The wind is still howling about 30 MPH, and the temperature is pegged at 10 degrees Fahrenheit!🥶
So today was roasting coffee for a customer, inside... and preparing for this new Winter storm.
More firewood, and gasoline for my backup generator!😊
And drinking another Latte....inside my friends!!!🤗

It sounds like your location and the specific geographic features probably make it a bit difficult to predict the weather. I know when I was in Ft. Collins Colorado the storms would just come roaring in over the mountains and then be gone in the blink of an eye. I got caught playing tennis in a thunderstorm and then just like that it was sunny again.
That’s the weather we had in Gunnison Co ... we are on day three of 10 degrees it’s like someone super glued the temperature in place!🥶😲
