MORE interstate running and winery walks (My Actifit Report Card: January 3 2020)

It was another very hot day today. I started the day again with my short run across the border to grab a coffee.

Out running this morning - this was taken from the bridge which divides Wahgunyah (VIC) from Corowa (NSW). The bridge crosses the ‘Mighty’ Murray River!

For the middle part of the day we braved the heat and walked to two local wineries - Valhalla and All Saints. From the first place we got a bottle of Durif which this region is famous for and a sparkling Shiraz from the second.

This is inside All Saints winery - it’s very commercial compared to other wineries in the region.

... and then I saw this on the way back - loads of feathers on a tree stump - man-made or natural?

We had two river swims after we got back to the campsite which was a great relief from the heat.

Sadly we’re leaving this place tomorrow. We’ve packed as much as we can tonight so we should be able to set off pretty early in the morning for the drive to Melbourne. We’re staying with a friend so we’ll have access to first-world staples such as showers, AC and wifi!!
