Merry Christmas, plus My Actifit Report Card: December 26 2019

Dear steem, Merry Christmas! From me, Collie and mrshill

Our Christmas plans have had to be flexible this year with the fires in the mountains. In the 10 years since mrshill and I moved to Sydney, this is the first year when we’ve woken up on Christmas morning at home. We went out for a walk around the harbour and got to my parents’ place in Leichhardt at around 12. We started with traditional Christmas Day mangoes and present opening, then begun the long wait for lunch (nowadays Christmas lunch is more like dinner!). Anyways, it was a great day.

Today (Boxing Day) we went for a longer walk. We did ‘The Bay Run’, which is a 7 kms loop around Canada Bay near where my parents live. It was a 2.5 kms walk to get there, so we walked about 12 kms in total. I carried about 9 kms. It was hot!

Seems like a good way to spend Boxing Day. We kayaked in the morning around Garden Island, South Australia, and then went to the beach. Legit way to spend a 33 degree day.
