My Actifit Report Card: October 10 2019

I played eighteen baskets of disc golf today with a friend I met yesterday. I felt like I did pretty well and had a couple of birdies on the course and won the match. He did very well for as few a times as he had been playing.

On one throw I was trying to explain how to do a "roller" and explained how it was really important to get the disc down fast so it didn't hold the angle for too long and end up in the bramble bushes. I threw a pretty nice throw exactly how I had explained not to and it ended up floating nicely into the bramble bushes instead of rolling, lol. :D

Usually that Witness disc flips over and drops pretty easy for me but I must have been worried about committing enough power to the throw.

On the way back I rode my e-bike past this nice red bush. Every year it turns this vivid red color.

I didn't take very many pictures today, I was busy talking and playing disc golf. I'm thinking about heading out to play again tomorrow so I hope to get some better photos to share.

I've been still doing a lot investigating into the decentralize exchange technologies and looking into how difficult it would be to add new coins to the AtomicDEX wallet. If it could be modified to support Steem and SBD I think that would be nice because:

There are many cryptocurrencies supported on it already and among them is USDC. I think that trading Steem for USDC and vice versa would be any easy way for people to get cash or purchase Steem through credit cards and bank accounts.

I think Coinbase supports USDC. I was trying to figure out how much it would be in fees to convert. It looks like it might be low cost or free but I need to try it out and see if that is the case.

It sounds like the technology is compatible with most of the crypto that are out there.

One of the really interesting things it is supposed to be able to do is create multiple orders from the same coins. For example you could offer to trade Dogecoin for Litecoin or Dogecoin for Komodo and the first order that fills should cancel the second order. (I need to try this out to see if that is how it works.)

Lots of times I've thought this kind of thing would be nice to have.
