My Actifit Report Card: October 9 2019
It was much nicer weather today and the sun was out but it was still a bit cooler. I managed to get out and play eighteen baskets of disc golf in a couple of rounds.
I met a guy on the course and we played the first round together. It was a lot of fun to be playing with someone else. I didn't really keep track of the scores we were just playing for fun. I was just playing with a couple of discs and the ones I had were the Tern and my Magic putter. The Tern was kind of fast, (at twelve speed,) to be playing all the baskets with.
I usually like to throw a slower speed driver on a lot of the shorter baskets. It seems to help to disc down a bit when you are trying to do more of a touch shot.

I like a lot of the smaller bike paths around here and I wish they had more of them and they were better interconnected so that you could more easily get around the town.

I'm planning to play again tomorrow, the weather is supposed to be nice. If not, I might stick to looking at source code and doing computer stuff.
Posting these reports really is a nice motivation for me to try to stay a lot more active. I can feel the results and I know that typically I would not be doing as much because I have a tendency to be pretty sedentary.
I am really getting pretty excited about decentralized exchanges, they should solve a lot of problems. After losing crypto in many of the recent exchange hacks I'm a big fan of improving these technologies. Even without a hack Exchanges don't seem to be doing well with the prices as they are and many have been closing or dropping coins.
An exchange dropping a coin can really wreck things for that coin and every investor that supported it. I hope that decentralized exchanges will have less incentive to drop a coin that is traded infrequently.

The exchanges really do remain the wild west. I do hope they get a bit more trustworthy and economical. But for now, I continue to concentrate on steem and leave it staked. Lovely post, LS:)
I kind of like looking at the technology and thinking about how it could improve things. As all of the pieces start working better the ability to make posts (or any worthwhile activity) and get some reasonable rate of return on them should hopefully get better.

Oh, that is too bad about the exchanges! I'm staked to the pole here and don't intend on getting too adventurous right now. Just call me chicken little!
Writing an actifit report every day would tend to push up my activity, although, I am usually pretty active, if I had to write it down, I would do more. :) The trees are absolutely beautiful! You have so much more color than I do! Loveliness!
My internet has been up and down for almost three weeks. I might as well be living third world! That is what I told Xfinity.

Everything is well in my world, thanks. Dog-oh is still old but he did go for a nice long walk today. I'm really not sure if there is anything much that can be done about his condition. I should look into the fish old and have been meaning to but I'm kind of a bit of a procrastinator. (You might have guessed by now.) It doesn't seem to be available locally but the usual specialized pet food store went out of business.
I get it on Amazon. Comes right to the door. ;) Fish oil seems to work well and I hope it might do something for him! :)

It is pretty around here in the fall. I haven't been able to get up in the higher mountains but it would be nice to do that before all the leaves are gone.

@lightsplasher - you're starting to see some really pretty fall colors. Our leaves are starting to drop but the trees haven't really started turning pretty yet. I'm glad that the actifit reports are helping to keep you motivated - the same is true for me as well. I know there are a lot of days I would have just sat here in my chair plugging away at the computer if I didn't feel the need to get out and get my steps for my report. I know it's fun when a stranger comes up and ends up playing with you in a game, you can meet some really nice people that way. Every time we play bags on the winery's court someone comes up and wants to challenge us to a game.
I'm a little afraid of DEX at this moment, they haven't been tested enough for me to consider most secure... I still opt for their centralized brethren, but sooner or later I'll change, DEXs are the future
A lot of testing and verification of smart contract code still needs to be done. I'm just very interested in it at this point but certainly wouldn't be doing a lot of high value trades yet. It does look very promising to me.
