Napoli shot their foot
Ancelloti is something of history now at Naples having been sacked a few days ago from his coaching role at the club. Truth be told he did a great job in his first season, but things have fallen off track for a couple of weeks now, and the board decided to fire him.
The decision to fire Ancelotti met many by surprise because he could still turn things around, and he is one of the best coaches in this business.
What even made their decision even more abysmal was the fact that Ancelotti was replaced with someone with a little less good coaching record compared to his.
Gattuso was given the job; this shows that Napoli has already given up on winning any silverware this season and this a wrong signal to send out as a top team in your league.
