Hard work doesn't always translate to big step counts 😍: October 16 2019

Hello friends🕺,

Thanks for dropping by and here is a summary of my actifit report today.

I went to the office using public transportation and that involved walking from one bus stop to another to catch the different buses going my way.

I was multitasking at the office because I needed to go home early for some gardening work my son and I had planned to do early in the evening one the sun goes down a bit and gives us the go ahead to come out and work.

The rain and rabbit dung is making the grasses in my compound grow like wild fire. We had gave ourselves a target to clear a particular section before darkness falls. We started like a lion ready for battle or should I say I started. Lol. We were able to achieve our target and my son even wanted us to do another area but I told him it was ok for today. He asked why? And I told him that my back is starting to give me signals but that he wouldn’t understand it now until he gets to my age. Lol.

He said he’ll be big and strong when he grows up, thank God he didn’t say like me. Lol. Anyways, I told him I once wanted to be like Sylvester Stallion or Arnold Schwarzenegger because I got the height but I stopped talking when I saw the expression on his face. Lol.

With all the hard work I put in clearing the grasses I had thought that my step count should be nearing 50k, honestly. But I was shocked to see it had just close to 4k, I had to do another round of walking around my compound to get the count over 5k. That is it my people, do have a lovely night rest.

This song was a great hit in my country about 28 years ago. Wow! How time flies. Anyways Majek Fashek the Artist that released the song “Send Down The Rain” back in the days is critically ill and in a London hospital and I wish he a successful treatment and quick recovery. I couldn’t get the original song but I saw this one he performed in a small event. You can see that even though Age had caught up with him he wasn’t looking very well.

He sang the song during a period we were experiencing some kind of draught wave that affect mostly some countries around the horn of Africa, so it made sense to play it then. Now you might be attacked for playing it because we have enough rain already. Lol.
