My Actifit Report Card: January 18 2020
This week I was kind of a slacker! It was a rough week :(! On Tuesday I lost my rabbit Mushroom. She was fine all day and when I got home she started having some sort of episode. She fell over on her side when she tried to jump on her liter box. At first I thought she slipped but then she tried to get herself up and couldn’t. She gradually became paralyzed. I ran her to a nearby dog/cat vet and asked them to put her down so she wouldn’t suffer. They wouldn’t do it. I think it was the E cuniculi parasite that got her. When I got her home she died about a half hour later :(. For those of you with rabbits you can get a simple blood test for your bunny and to check if they have the parasite. If they do, your vet with prescribe you pancur for about 28 days. I really wish I did that with my mushroom!
