My Actifit Report Card: November 30 2019
Hi guys!
Today was one of those days with what seems like a million things to do and you wonder whether you’ll make it or not! I got up and after my shower, began working on the PowerPoint for worship tomorrow at church and gathering the chord sheets for the music end of things. One of the songs we are doing is Casting Crowns version of Joyful Joyful, and the chord sheet I have had for a couple of years was small enough that you really couldn’t see it well and if the lighting was dim…….well let’s just say that chords could be played wrong and/or words changed out for something they were not! So I needed to rework the chord sheet for that one. I downloaded a new PDF chord sheet in my key and set to cutting and pasting so it matched the way we do the song. Then, it was time to hunt for the other two song chord sheets I needed. Fortunately, they were an easy find, and then it was copying enough for our team.
The next few photos are random ornaments on our Christmas tree.
I needed to roast coffee for us as we were OUT!! Not good being the coffee-holics we are, lol! As that was going on, I had to get to getting my hair up because I had a turkey to dismantle from late last night’s cooking of it. Then it was time to get the mic stand, microphone, iPads, guitar and music all together and load up the car to head out for practice. As many of you know, Jan our neighbor and my back up vocal is out of town for the next month and a half still, and I was supposed to have 2 gals I had recruited to come do backup vocals. One of them bowed out of practice tonight and I’m not sure if she will make it tomorrow either. The other one was thinking about it, but fear was what was eating her. I told her to just come and have fun today, and if she didn’t want to do Sunday, then that was okay. Turns out she enjoyed herself and is planning to come sing with me tomorrow! I am glad she’s coming!
After we got home from that, I set to making the dressing (stuffing as I described in Thursday’s post) and some mashed potatoes for our turkey dinner. Things were yummy
We watched the end of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and now am working on Actifit and steemit. As soon as I get things squared away with this, it will be time for bed as tomorrow will come soon enough!
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to keep on steppin’! Any exercise is good for you, so keep at it. Have a wonderful day wherever you are!
I can see you're already set for the Christmas celebrations. Well done.
