Od rána drobně prší. Být někde v tropech, myslel bych si, že je to monzun. Jsem ale v Čechách a tady monzuny nemáme. Tady by měl v prosinci padat sníh. Nepadá. Prší.

It has been raining lightly since the morning. Being somewhere in the tropics, I think it's a monsoon. But I am in the Czech Republic and we do not have monsoons here. Snow should fall here in December. It doesn't. It is raining.

Morning survey of one locality failed. It's a bad idea to go to a new location at half past seven in the morning when the darkness and the forest double.

Likewise, it is not a good idea to take with you for an afternoon survey dog. But Ashley needed to run, so I had no choice. I chose one location near my home. At the entrance to the site is a little dense vegetation and is protected from the curious.

Ashley bravely overcame thorns and then patiently and bored nibbled the sticks while I devoted myself to looking at the stone rubble. You can see my catch today in the photos.

Ranní průzkum jedné lokality se nepovedl. Je to totiž dost špatný nápad jít na novou lokalitu o půl sedmé ráno, když je tma a v lese dvojnásobná.

Stejně tak není dobrý nápad brát sebou na odpolední průzkum psa. Ashley ale potřeboval vyběhat, tak mi nic jiného nezbývalo. Vybral jsem si jednu lokalitu nedaleko mého domova. Při vstupu na lokalitu je trochu hustější porost a je tak chráněná od zvědavců.

Ashley statečně překonal trní a pak trpělivě a znuděně okusoval klacíky, zatímco já se věnoval prohlížení kamenné sutě. Mé dnešní úlovky vidíte na fotografiích.
