Actifit Short & Long Term Plans
We wanted to share with you a quick update onto our short and long term plans.
We are continuously and dynamically moving with the platform, and taking different measures to equip Actifit with all the potential for its success.
We would like to start off by thanking all the amazing actifitters, users, delegators, ambassadors, moderators, team members, and everyone who participated one way or another to assist with the so-far amazing work and milestones we've achieved. THANK YOU!
For some of the newcomers or anyone who is still not aware, Actifit is a community centered health-incentivinzing fitness platform, that incentivizes you to get healthier via rewards. That is the key and core vision behind actifit.
In terms of the items we have so far as our short and long term plans, and although many of those are already described on our white paper, let us highlight some of those below:
New IOS version
We are working diligently on bringing a new iOS version. Although we had to let go of our prior dev, we onboarded a new one, and he is working on the different pending items to bring the new app to speed. We plan to have this version to you ASAP, with initial expectations within a month.
Increasing Marketplace products/services
Bringing new products & services is a top priority, and this is part of both our short and long term plans. Through the help of many team members and other community members, in particular @taskmaster4450, we are working on expanding our reach to many fitness businesses outside Steem.
Development Work
Continuous work on the development of our different platforms (web, dapp), with some high level details focusing on the following headlines:
- Revamp of the whole user experience (UX/UI)
- User profile built-in to app
- Viewing, editing, upvoting reports via app
- Messaging & notification system
- Goal & competition system
- Full blockchain experience via app/web solution
- Trainer program
- Actifit Marketplace Improvements
- Integration with other wearables for syncing data (Apple, Samsung, Garmin, …)
- Bug fixing and related new features
- New gamification aspects to Actifit (long term larger scale project)
- Integration and expansion to other blockchains in addition to Steem (long term larger scale project)
- Actifit Exchange (long term larger scale project)
Marketing & Bus Dev Effort
This is another continuous effort that constitutes a pillar to the growth and success of any platform. Essentially our focus is on:
- Further social media growth, presence, & promotion
- Expand user signups/onboarding/retention.
- Expand ambassador program
- Partnering with businesses, gyms, trainers, fitness influencers, brands, insurance companies,...
The above is in a nutshell some of the areas of our focus. We are continuously approaching potential large scale investors to help speed up our process.
Regardless, we are more than fully committed to the continued growth and success of Actifit, and are putting every effort to make that happen on a large scale .. and IT WILL!

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.
Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.
Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.
We are appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !
When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.

This is a great question! All of the votes from here on out (assuming the hf has no problems) will be under HF21 rules. If I understand it correctly, it will be difficult for actifit to continue voting the way they are because it will take a much larger vote to get to the same vote value because of the nonlinearity at the bottom of the curve. I will be interested to see how this is handled. One option would be to up the minimum afit token needed to cash them in so they can use larger votes to reach that target. For instance, instead of voting on a person many times when exchanging 20 afit, they could up it to 200 afit tokens and vote on them once a week or something like that.
We are looking at various options at the moment and your suggestion could be another way to address it. We will take a final decision how to take this forward after the event because only then we can see the real impact on day-2-day basis.
