The Simpsons Movie (2007).

It is a film with the same airs of the series that I have seen since childhood. Loving that humor sometimes black and very similar to the reality we know, only that many do not dare to admit it.

A little about the history of the Movie:

Start with a campaign in the middle of a rock concert, encouraging good environmental habits. The singers assure that they must adopt that environmentalist position or perhaps this absence then the reason for the loss. However, in Sprinfield, no inhabitant has a true awareness of this; but at least in the process of remedying the situation a little, they place a fence and preventive notices not to contaminate the city lake and even more after a mutated creature was found, which was the product of contact with toxic waste.

Homer, crosses his life with a pig that he calls in different ways and consents to each moment. The amount of waste that is generated is nothing normal and Marge (always patient) asks Homer, to dispose of the huge container that has already run into waste. Homer, always lazy and doing the first thing that comes to mind, throws this container into the lake and leaves. It causes a mega pollution that accelerates the mutation in the species of the area. The event occurred, is disclosed and is when EPA (Environmental Protection Squadron) intervenes; taking drastic measures and enclosing the entire city of Sprinfield in a Dome until deciding specifically what they will do with the inhabitants and the area.
The trigger for this environmental disaster had not yet been discovered, until they removed the container and surprise, it belongs to Homer. The enraged inhabitants go to the Simpsons house with torches and weapons, they want to kill them. It is when, these in escape action, discover that in Maggie's sandbox there is a kind of tunnel that sucks and directs out of the dome. The Simpsons family escapes and it is when all the other spectators in their anguish and despair to leave too, end up covering that exit.

While outside, the Simpson family begins a journey to Canada. Where the road will be full of adventures, since they were now fugitives and the US government wanted to capture them. After various circumstances, Homer must discover love and support for other people; but not before taking several hits for it.

Important Scenes from the Movie:

  • The song that Homer sings of the "Spider Pork". Loving this part is funny and one of the most striking in the movie.

  • Decision of the Sprinfield situation. According to the US Government and EPA, the inhabitants of that site have no choice and it is better to disappear with a bomb.

  • Bart with high doses of alcohol. While in the cabin and in a slight carelessness, Bart ends up drinking and admitting that he misses Flanders, all because he does give him time and attention (behavior that Homer does not do)

  • Marge leaves Homer. In favor of encouraging the dissolution of Homer's egoism, just think of him. He didn't think of anyone else when the dome placement was the trigger in Sprinfield.

  • Homer discovers the meaning of Epiphany and discovers that he must be less selfish and think of others, because they are as important as himself. All this, thanks to Mrs. de las Bubis, or busty (as I saw in the subtitles. LOL)

  • Homer saves Sprinfield from detonation and has a nice moment of trust with Bart.

My opinion:

It is a film that follows the airs of the animated Fox series. It is not for less and that this humor is the fundamental pillar of the long and current success of the series and the characters. Laughing is really a promise with this movie, which I've really managed to see as 7 times or more. Simpsons fans will be able to ensure that the image quality is complete, that the voices and sounds are perfectly recreated. A funny story that leaves a lesson in spite of everything.
