Synopsis

The story begins with a boy in class who tells the story of a hero, however he is a canine hero. The story is set in a context a few years ago, where a monk sends a puppy to the United States on request. Then, when arriving at the destination, the cage accidentally falls from the place where they store their bags and then the puppy ends up wandering on the railroad tracks. Where, he is found by a music teacher, who attends the train station on a daily basis when going to and from his work routine. The music teacher is called Parker and seeing the puppy helpless, he takes him to the station manager who does not want to keep him, so the teacher decides to take him home. While both at home, Parker's wife didn't want to keep the puppy either. Seeing this, then Parker takes the puppy and takes him to the train station, to confirm if anyone claimed it. But none of that happened, so take it with you to work. While in music school, Parker bumps into Ken a good friend, who translates what he says on the puppy's collar. Indicates that it says: Hachi. And that both are destined to always be together. Really, Now the puppy named Hachi and Parker, have a nice relationship. But he has a problem, Hachi does not play ball, however he accompanies him every day to the train station and awaits his return. In front of the station, there is a kind of small garden with bricks, there awaits Hachi on a daily basis waiting for Parker. Parker's wife ended up accepting Hachi and loving him too because she saw that she made her husband very happy.

Although, that day Hachi mysteriously agrees to play with the ball. But, Parker was already late for work and leaves. Hachi, that day did not want to accompany him, but then when Parker was arriving at the train station, he observes that Hachi had followed him. His dear friend had not abandoned him. Parker is very happy and celebrates that his beloved Hachi plays ball, but he must also go to work. That day, while teaching his class, he felt bad and had a heart attack, snatching his life. Hachi, by his side still waiting in the same place as always. At nightfall, Parker's daughter's husband will look for him so he doesn't spend the night there. And since what happened, Hachi waited for his friend and love for years, every day. Hachi, had been taken to live with Parker's daughter, but did not contain the idea and escaped to go to his usual place to wait for Parker's impossible arrival. In view of this, Parker's daughter tells Hachi, who must make a decision and he decides to continue his wait. During the years that are still waiting, people sent money to the station manager and covered the canine's monetary expenses. Also, a good friend of Parker, who sold sausages at the entrance of the station, gave him sausages. The years passed, and Parker would not return, Hachi dies.

My opinion:

It is a wonderful film that shows the love and fidelity of a canine for a man. Both cultivate a beautiful relationship of mutual protection, full of love. This story is based on real events and to amazement, Hachi has a bronze statue where he used to wait for Parker. It really is a very emotional movie, if you are sensitive it will almost certainly make you shed tears of sadness.
