GOP Terrorists

When are we going to take the threat serious? You might think I'm going a step too far by calling the GOP a party of terrorists, and you'd be right. The problem is that it's not me doing that; it's the GOP itself...

The spectre of fascism is casting its shadow over America, but life seems to go on as if nothing happened. For me, as an outsider, it's interesting and frightening at the same time to follow the politics and public discourse in "the land of the free" as it moves further and further away from its ideological foundation on freedom, democracy and the separation of Church and state. Numerous posts I've spent on warning about the continues move to the right of the Overton Window since the 1970s, and the fact that this move threatens to collapse the country into a fascist state. The recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas has prompted me and many others to once again focus our attention on the radicalization of the GOP and too many of its supporters.

The direct inspiration for this post was a screenshot I saw from that conference, displaying a banner that said "We are all domestic terrorists"; I told you they did it themselves... Of course this was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, a continuation of an old GOP tradition of repurposing liberals' derogatory labels as badges of honor for conservatives. They did the same with the term "deplorables" used by Hillary Clinton to describe Trump-supporters, and Ted Cruz recently called CPAC attendees "dangerous radicals." But it's not funny anymore. It's dangerous and in alignment with the radicalization of the party we've seen happening over more than five decades.

Mehdi Hasan Calls Conservatives Cheering Far Right Messages At CPAC 'Facism'

We all know that Trump and his lackeys incited the crowd leading up to the January 6 attempted coupe. But the GOP as a whole is now inciting violence among the entire voter-base. How often have you heard Republican public figures and politicians declare that they're at war? How come the party of "law and order" cries foul whenever law and order is dished out to one of their own? The proclamation at CPAC that "we're all domestic terrorists" is a clear invitation to to act against the enemy in this hyped-up "war." Just a couple of hours ago I saw the news that an Armed man tried to breach FBI building in Cincinnati...

CPAC also welcomed Viktor Orbán as one of its speakers. Orbán is Hungary's autocratic prime minister who gave a speech last week declaring that in Europe "we do not want to become peoples of mixed race." One of his aides resigned promptly, slamming Orbán's remarks as "pure Nazi text." He assumed office in 2010 and proudly proclaims himself to be Europe's longest presiding leader. What would move the GOP to invite this fascist, who promoted anti-Americanism in his country, to one of their most important conferences? To give the obvious answer to that interesting question I leave you with the below linked video. The TL;DR is that Orbán provides the GOP with an interesting blueprint of how to build authoritarian, fascist rule over time, without having to break any laws. And the American Supreme Court is already making the necessary preparations for this "slow coupe"...

Of course this was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, a continuation of an old GOP tradition of repurposing liberals' derogatory labels as badges of honor for conservatives.

When the democrats call them terrorists its derogatory.
When the Conservatives poke fun at the blatant racism, calling themselves what the FBI has since the Tea Party, domestic terrorists, that's not funny, that's dangerous, woo wooo! So is it derogatory, or apt? Is it calling themselves, or repeating what they are being called with tongue in cheek?

Lolol! Regardless, you're not entertained. Lmao, I don't think they give a flying fuck and it shows, and your desperate attempt at grabbing attention and twisting this into pure racism is telling, you ARE concerned, AND NOBODY CARES! MUHAHAHAHAHA!
