"Nostalgia Sabanera" Dibujo a lápiz.

Hola queridos amigos cómo están, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que nació en este día lo que trajo la musa, lo que trajo el alma para crear.

Hello dear friends how are you today I want to share with you what was born on this day what brought the muse what brought the soul to create.

En algunas ocasiones he contado que mi niñez y mi adolescencia las vivía en un lugar muy especial de Venezuela, mi país. Este lugar se llama La Gran Sabana me crié en un pueblo que estaba rodeado de montañas ríos y habían lugares de dónde se podrían ver tepuyes, alrededor de este pueblo también hay aldeas indígenas y haciendo excursiones entre 14 y 15 horas o tal vez menos uno podía llegar a ciertos lugares muy mágicos desde donde se veían diferentes tepuyes, y tienes un contacto con la naturaleza muy especial.

On some occasions I have told that my childhood and adolescence I lived in a very special place in Venezuela, my country. This place is called La Gran Sabana, I grew up in a town that was surrounded by mountains and rivers and there were places where you could see tepuis, around this town there are also indigenous villages and hiking between 14 and 15 hours or maybe less one could reach certain very magical places from where you could see different tepuis, and you have a very special contact with nature.

Estos días he tenido como una nostalgia muy grande por ese lugar ya qué es un lugar que te conecta con la naturaleza y en dónde ves lo grandioso de la creación del planeta Tierra .

Así que hoy entre no saber qué hacer para el blog me puse a pensar en todos esos sitios que visité siendo adolescente y pues decidí dibujar una mezcla de algunos sitios que visité, realmente los paisajes en el dibujo no existen como tal, pero si existen pedazos en diferentes lugares. La parte frontal es como la meseta de un tepuy dónde iba siempre de niña que se llama El Abismo que a veces cuando llovía se hace un pequeño manantial que caía y desde allí se veía a mano derecha el tepuy en dónde se terminaba de alguna manera el macizo guayanés y comenzaba la planicie que nos conecta con Brasil, los otros dos tepuyes que se ven al final de mi dibujo son tepuyes que vi cuando fui a excursiones a unas aldeas indígenas , al final de mi dibujo es la formación que se ve al final de mi dibujo sería el Chimantá qué es un tepuy que nunca tuve la oportunidad de visitar pero que un tío que vivía en el pueblo donde yo también vivía me decía que era muy bonito y muy mágico.

Total que mezclé todos mis recuerdos y los uní en un solo dibujo que lo hice a lápiz y de alguna manera así fluyó esta nostalgia por estos lugares.

La selva que nos une con nuestra frontera con Brasil, los tepuyes y esa sensación de grandeza y plenitud que solo se puede vivir en lugares como la Gran Sabana en Venezuela.

These days I have had a great nostalgia for that place because it is a place that connects you with nature and where you see the greatness of the creation of planet Earth.

So today between not knowing what to do for the blog I started to think about all those places I visited as a teenager and I decided to draw a mix of some places I visited, actually the landscapes in the drawing do not exist as such, but there are pieces in different places. The front part is like the plateau of a tepuy where I always went as a child called El Abismo that sometimes when it rained there was a small spring that fell and from there you could see on the right hand side the tepuy where somehow the Guayana massif ended and the plain that connects us with Brazil began, the other two tepuis that you see at the end of my drawing are tepuis that I saw when I went on excursions to some indigenous villages and the other one that is at the end of my drawing is the formation that you see at the end of my drawing would be the Chimantá which is a tepuy that I never had the opportunity to visit but that an uncle who lived in the town where I also lived told me that it was very beautiful and very magical.

So I mixed all my memories and united them in a single drawing that I did in pencil and somehow this nostalgia for these places flowed.

The jungle that unites us with our border with Brazil, the tepuis and that feeling of grandeur and fullness that can only be experienced in places like the Gran Sabana in Venezuela.

Pues inspirada ya tomé una hoja y un lápiz y así fue el proceso con el que comenzó este camino para traerles este dibujo que hoy les comparto.

Well, inspired, I took a sheet of paper and a pencil and that is how the process began to bring you this drawing that I share with you today.

Comencé delineando lo que serían las formas principales de los tepuyes que quise plasmar dentro de mi dibujo la silueta principales que luego iba a rellenar con sombras y líneas.

I began by outlining what would be the main shapes of the tepuis that I wanted to capture in my drawing, the main silhouette that I would then fill with shadows and lines.

Luego utilizando líneas empezar a llenar cada montaña y cada tepuy líneas quebradas y así dándole forma y sombra a las diferentes montañas y el paisaje.

Then using lines start filling each mountain and each tepui with broken lines and thus giving shape and shadow to the different mountains and the landscape.

Poco a poco fui entonces rellenando con el lápiz, en algunos momentos y hice sombreados usando la parte lateral de la punta del lápiz y en otras hice líneas más claras y líneas más oscuras.

Little by little I then filled in with the pencil, at some points and made shading using the side of the pencil tip and at others I made lighter lines and darker lines.

Para realizar los árboles simplemente utilice formas ovaladas haciendo formas de arbolitos que se sobre pusieran unos sobre otros para dar la sensación de bosque o selva tupida.

To make the trees, I simply used oval shapes to make saplings that were placed on top of each other to give the sensation of a dense forest or jungle.

Al fondo le realicé algunos morichales ya que la palma de moriche es una palma que se da mucho en La Gran Sabana y se ve siempre en algunas lagunas que están al pie de los tepuyes y al tepuy que se ve en el centro le hice un pequeño salto de agua.

In the background I made some morichales since the moriche palm is a palm that grows a lot in La Gran Sabana and is always seen in some lagoons that are at the foot of the tepuis and the tepui that you can see in the center I made a small waterfall.

Ya para terminar dibujé el paisaje del tepuy principal que sería el sitio donde estaría de alguna manera parada la persona observando todo el paisaje, allí hice un pequeño riachuelo y cómo las gramita que existe encima, la vegetación de los tepuyes arriba es muy distinta entonces trate de plasmar un poquito esa vegetación que se da en el tepuy entre las piedras y las rocas y así terminé mi dibujo que lo denominé "Nostalgia Sabanera" ya que pues salió de este sentimiento al recordar el sitio donde de alguna manera me crié.

Finally I drew the landscape of the main tepui, which would be the place where the person would be standing somehow observing the whole landscape, there I made a small stream and how the little grass that exists above, the vegetation of the tepuis above is very different so I tried to capture a little of that vegetation that occurs in the tepui between the stones and rocks and so I finished my drawing that I called it "Nostalgia Sabanera" because it came from this feeling to remember the place where somehow I grew up.
