Traditional Propagation of Cocos nucifera (Coconut)

Cocos nucifera(coconut) is known as the tree of life as every part of the plant is useful. It is a monoecious perennial palm from the Arecaceae

The coconut seed germinates slowly, taking up to four (4) months before the shoot appears.
Here is how I was able to grow a coconut seedling:

To get this particular coconut seedling to this level took up to 6 months. I started by harvesting a very well matured coconut from the farm and kept it in a sack in a room for just over two months

After two weeks, it hardens a little and then begins to form the first root on the underside, followed by the shoot on the upper side. It also grows a sheath to protect the seedling root and shoot from insects and mammals. This grows with them through the softest of the three eyes at the base of the shell.

At the same time, the embryo develops an organ of spongy tissue (technically, the haustorium, but often called the ‘apple’) that expands rapidly into the cavity of the nut, usually filling it completely within four months, although in a large nut this would take a little longer. It rapidly absorbs the coconut water, and from the kernel it takes nutrients at an increasing rate to provide substance and energy for the growth of the seedling. Because the seedling has this natural reservoir, it can grow for some time before making contact with the soil.

After exactly two months a three days I went back to check on it and I noticed that is is about to shoot out. I took the coconut from the sack and moved it to the nursery, there I decided to grow it in a sack. So I filled a sack with rich and fertile soil and the planted the coconut into the sand filled sack with the sprouted part of the coconut pointing outward.
With this done, a daily wetting routine was implemented as it is currently dry season in the country.

As days goes by, the sprouted part began forming into a leaf 🌿 🌿.
When the first green leaf appears, the seedling can begin to generate its own food by photosynthesis and there is a period of gradual ‘weaning’ as the young seedling expands a series of leaves, each larger than the one before. Each new leaf supplies a greater share of the energy needs of the seedling, which thereby becomes less and less reliant on the diminishing kernel to sustain its accelerating growth

It was a mistake on my own part as I have been away from the platform for almost 2 years now and have mostly forgotten the rules governing this great platform.
A honest mistake on my part. Apologies 🙏

Hello.

Stealing (including stealing someone's content/fruit of work) is considered socially reprehensible and it is not a rule of the Hive ecosystem. It's common, worldwide knowledge that is taught to kids.
Try publishing plagiarism in University or at any website that pays writers/journalists for articles.
You would be banned/excluded permanently and potentially face legal consequences.
Considering how easily and quickly some users got into plagiarism, one may ponder how these users went through university and acquired their education degree...
