Día Mundial del Cáncer Infantil. ¿Me ayudas Mamá?........ Esp-Eng
Saludos amigos esta publicación tiene que ver con muchas cosas, con una clase de mi hija que estudia enfermeria y con una pequeña, sencilla manualidad, que la hice con mucho gusto, aquí radica la ayuda que me pide mi hija.
A ella donde esta haciendo el Servicio Comunitario, materia obligada, le piden que colabore con unos lazos amarillos, ya que pronto se conmemora o celebra mas no como fiesta, el Día Mundial del Cáncer Infantil.
Cuando me dice, le digo que no hay problema pero también antes de eso, me documente sobre el tema.
El Cáncer es una enfermedad conocida a nivel mundial, hay de diferentes tipos también: de Mama, Próstata, Riñón, Pancreas, Leucemia, Infantil, cada uno se representa con unos lazos de colores, pero para el infantil es lazo es amarillo.
Porque el Cáncer no ve razas, edades, nivel social, nada de eso, llega sin pensarlo, hay unos que si se descubre a tiempo pueden salvarse, pero cuando ya ha hecho metástasis ya no hay remedios ni salvación.
Para el Cáncer Infantil, se decreto o se tomo como fecha para recordar, el 15 de febrero desde el año 2002, por la Organización Internacional de Cáncer Infantil, esta creada en el 2001. Y el color del lazo para distinguirlo de los demás es el DORADO.

La fecha como dije no es para celebrar, sino para recordar, crear conciencia, recordar y hasta honrar a aquellos niños los que han librado esta enfermedad, como también los que la perdieron.
Ahora si como hice los lazos, algo muy fácil, pero los hice con amor, para ayudar a mi hija y así aportar algo a la causa.
Materiales:
Foami amarillo escarchado tornasol.
Nodrizas doradas.
Pistola y barras de silicon.
Lapiz, regla, tijera y exacto o cutter.
Moneda.
Paso a Paso:
Aunque mi hija me había dicho que con cinta pero lo vi que no se iba a notar mucho, se iba a doblar, luego poner la nodriza iba ser incomodo, por eso me decidí por el foami.
1.- Marque pequeñas tiras o rectángulos de 14 cms de largo, por 1.5 cms de ancho, no se la cantidad que le pidieron, pero yo saque para 24 lazos.
2.- Para recortarlos luego había pensado en que el borde quedara con una forma y no el corte recto por la tijera, recordé que tengo un exacto o cutter, de hoja circular, pero queda como con ondas, como ven en la foto, me encanta, el que compra y guarda siempre tiene, ese exacto lo compre hace años, porque no se, pero lo uso mas que todo con foami, es como ideal para este material.
3.- Paso el exacto ayudado con una regla, se puede pasar dos veces si el foami es muy delgado, si es grueso una sola vez, pero hay que afincar muy bien. Luego hago varias veces dobleces y voy despegando ayudándome con las manos.
4.- Ya están todas las tiras, les hice unos cortes en V inversa en las puntas o extremos.
5.- Con la pistola y el silicon, las tiras les hice como un medio giro y pegaba con silicon, que la parte escarchada quede hacia arriba, como ven.
6.- Con la moneda mas pequeña, trace, recorte 24 círculos, estos los pegue en el revés del lazo.
7.- Por ultimo en ese círculos, pegue las nodrizas y las asegure con papel de servilletas.
Ahora solo esperar el día que mi hija los lleve, supongo que ese día harán unas charlas en el modulo, esperare esas fotos, o ella misma haga su publicación.

Now, how I made the ribbons: it was very easy, but I made them with love, to help my daughter and thus contribute something to the cause.
Materials:
Iridescent yellow foam.
Gold brads.
Hot glue gun and glue sticks.
Pencil, ruler, scissors, and X-Acto knife or craft knife.
Coin.
Step by step:
Although my daughter had told me to use tape, I realized that it wouldn't be very noticeable, it would bend, and then putting on the nursing pad would be uncomfortable, so I decided to use foam.
1.- Mark small strips or rectangles 14 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. I don't know how many they asked for, but I made enough for 24 bows.
2.- To cut them out, I had thought about giving the edges a shape rather than cutting them straight with scissors. I remembered that I have an X-Acto knife with a circular blade, but it leaves a wavy edge, as you can see in the photo. I love it. If you buy one and keep it, you'll always have it. I bought that X-Acto knife years ago, and I don't know why, but I use it mostly with foam. It's ideal for this material.
3.- I use a ruler to apply the glue. If the foam is very thin, you can apply it twice; if it is thick, once is enough, but you have to press down firmly. Then I fold it several times and peel it off with my hands.
4.- Now that all the strips are ready, I made some inverted V-shaped cuts at the tips or ends.
5.- Using the glue gun and silicone, I made the strips into a half-turn and glued them with silicone, so that the frosted part was facing up, as you can see.
6.- Using the smallest coin, trace and cut out 24 circles, then stick them onto the back of the bow.
7.- Finally, glue the nursing mothers onto these circles and secure them with paper napkins.
Now I just have to wait for the day my daughter takes them. I guess they'll have some talks in the module that day. I'll wait for those photos, or for her to post them herself.
