De macetero a joyero…..Esp – Eng.
Hola mis abejitas laboriosas, aquí de nuevo para compartir una de mis manualidades o de mis creatividades, que cuando veo una idea, ahí mismo la quiero hacer, pero como siempre le pongo mi toque personal.
Los joyeritos son esos objetos donde guardamos algunas prendas o accesorios desde: zarcillos, pulseras, cadenas, collares, u otros lo que uno quiera.
Yo tengo varios en mi peinadora, pero los tengo como clasificados, me hacia falta uno para los accesorios de plata, que últimamente estoy usando.
Materiales empleados:
-1 pileta o maceta de arcilla pequeña.
-Pinturas negra y amarilla.
-Esponja.
-Pincel.
-Revista.
-Mecatillo.
-Pistola y barras de silicon.
-Tijera.
-Pega blanca.
-Fieltro blanco.
Primero tenia una idea, pero luego se me ocurrió otra, por eso hay algunos materiales que no salen en la foto (sorry).
Paso a paso:
-La pileta o maceta como tenia algo de tierra, la lave bien que no quedara ningún residuo de suciedad. Esta es de color arcilla como anaranjada.
-Ya seca la maceta, con la pintura negra y pincel, la fui pintando primero por fuera, que cuando se seco la pinte por dentro, que al principio no quería pero luego pensé que toda de negro, se vería mejor. Espere que secara para dar una segunda capa de pintura.
-Con la esponja y la pintura amarilla, hice unos moteados en la pileta, que con el fondo en negro el contraste era muy bonito.
-Para la decoración, quería ponerle unas flores en foami que se ven en los materiales, pero como casi siempre uso flores de foami, busqué una revista hasta que encontré unas flores similares a los girasoles, lo que quería era que fueran amarillas.
-Las flores estaban ideales, hasta con el tallo y las hojas, que las recorte con cuidado. La idea era usarla como una calcomanía.
-Antes de pegarlas, las coloque asi a ver como se vería, para luego si pegarlas.Coloque pega blanca sobre la macera y con el pincel regué la misma, luego coloque la primera flor, que le coloque más pega y la pase por la flor, hasta que quedo bien pegada, lo mismo hice con las demás flores.
-La pega hace como un protector y da brillo también, asi que le puse pega a la maceta toda y con el pincel la regué asi como si fuera una pintura.
-Cuando se seco la pega, busque el mecatillo, esto era como para darle el toque final estilo country, pero solo en el borde en la parte superior, lo pegue con la pistola de silicon, así es difícil que se despegue, luego con la tijera corte esos pelitos del mecatillo.
-Como era para un joyerito, en el fondo por dentro, corte un circulo en fieltro blanco y lo peque con la pistola, es mejor que suelto.
-Listo ya, me encanto el resultado final, la transformación de la maceta y para que lo voy a usar.

These little jewelry boxes are where we keep small items or accessories like earrings, bracelets, chains, necklaces, or whatever else you like.
I have several on my dressing table, but I keep them organized by category. I needed one for my silver accessories, which I’ve been wearing a lot lately.
Materials used:
- 1 small clay basin or flowerpot.
- Black and yellow paint.
- Sponge.
- Paintbrush.
- Magazine.
- Craft tape.
- Hot glue gun and silicone glue sticks.
- Scissors.
- White glue.
- White felt.
At first I had one idea, but then I came up with another, which is why some of the materials aren’t shown in the photo (sorry).
Step-by-step:
-Since the basin or planter had some soil in it, I washed it thoroughly to remove any remaining dirt. It’s a clay-colored, orange-ish shade.
-Once the planter was dry, I used black paint and a brush to paint the outside first. After it dried, I painted the inside—I didn’t want to at first, but then I thought it would look better all black. I waited for it to dry before applying a second coat of paint.
-Using the sponge and yellow paint, I added some speckles to the pool; the contrast against the black background looked really nice.
-For the decoration, I wanted to add some foam flowers, as shown in the materials list, but since I almost always use foam flowers, I looked through a magazine until I found some flowers similar to sunflowers—I wanted them to be yellow.
-The flowers were perfect, complete with the stem and leaves, which I carefully cut out. The idea was to use them as a sticker.
-Before gluing them on, I arranged them like this to see how it would look, and then I glued them down. I applied white glue to the canvas and spread it with a brush, then placed the first flower, applied more glue to it, and pressed it onto the canvas until it was securely attached. I did the same with the other flowers.
-The glue acts as a protective coating and adds shine, so I applied glue all over the pot and used the brush to spread it as if I were painting.
-Once the glue dried, I found some faux fur—this was to add a final country-style touch, but only along the top edge. I attached it with a hot glue gun so it wouldn’t come off easily, then used scissors to trim the little fibers of the faux fur.
-Since it was for a little jewelry box, I cut a circle out of white felt for the bottom inside and attached it with the hot glue gun; it's better that way than leaving it loose.
-All done! I love the final result, the transformation of the planter, and what I’m going to use it for.
