My God! I worried that this man was going to pass away right infront of me! His feet were bare as was his body and his eyes were disturbingly wary. Honestly, for a moment, I felt I had stumbled upon some cave man from B.C. However, he was not a cave man.

Doubtless I was to conceive the reality that I was actually standing in the midst of some wanderer, some deserter or some surviver of a sort whom abided his way through these harsh lands. "Could he see me?" I wondered. "Did he notice my presence? or has his immense fatigue and hunger clouded his senses so much that he could not even perceive the environment around him?" "Is it possible his struggle to live has blinded him so?" these I stood in guessing. And with confidence and sanguine I called out to him: "Hello! Who are you? Where did you come from?..."

For a moment, there was a brief silence, the man uttered not a single word. And so I asked again this time shining my flashlight much closer to his body "Hello! Can you hear me?... I said who are you and what are you doing here?" It was at this time he began raising his head which was bowed down to the dirt before he proceeded to belt out the ominous words "I need your heart!!"

Believe me when I say that I had never felt such fear before – such uncomfortable terrors. It was the type that makes its way from within your bosoms core and explodes like an orgasm everywhere across your being, living you with nothing but weightlessness and coldness.

Hmm...It had all become very clear now. The mystery had finally been unfolded for it was not a helpless man whom crawled his way on that dirt, but a terrifying ghoul!

For a second, I thought about running back to my wagon perhaps to flee away from this entity. But alas, I knew my efforts would be in vain for the entity had already began changing its normal humanoid form to something much more horrifying.

My biggest regret – my empathy to help and my curiosity to persist.
