Family I did not know I had - Uncle Barry and a trip to Simon's Town

One thing that is positive out of the loss of a family member, is that it can bring family together. An Uncle and a niece that had never (since she was very little) met and could meet and share in the remembrance of a father and a brother.

Uncle Barry came to visit us for two nights to attend his brother's wake and I must say that this was a wonderful experience. Claire and Barry (and the late Garth) are musicians and could chat about their craft as well as remembrances.

Music is alive and it brings emotion and memories to life. Especially for someone like @clairemobey. Music means the world to her and it was a very special experience to share with her uncle.

On the visit to Simon's Town we stopped by Berth'a Restaurant for some brunch. The food was very good. I had the Hake, Calamari and chips. There was an assortment of other food on the table, from mussels to steaks and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Cheers!
