Hola queridos amantes de la costura, espero se encuentren de maravilla 🤗 hace ya un rato que comenzó este NeedleWorkMonday’s WIP Challenge! hasta ahora pude organizarne para poder participar, para esta reto me he propuesto terminar algunos proyectos que tengo abandonados como es el caso de esta camisa. El proyecto de hoy tienen engavetados dos años aproximadamente, saco la cuenta por el lapso de cuando comenzó la pandemia 2020.

Hello dear sewing lovers, I hope you are feeling wonderful 🤗 it's been a while since I started this NeedleWorkMonday’s WIP Challenge!but until now I could organize myself to participate, for this challenge I have proposed to finish some projects that I have abandoned as is the case of this shirt. Today's project has been on hold for about two years, I'm counting from when the 2020 pandemic began.

Desde que comenzó el reto me pareció una idea genial pues nos alienta a desempolvar trabajos no finalizados o no iniciados, yo debería estar de primera en la lista de las que deja muchos proyectos sin terminar 😝😂 bueno eso lo hacía unos años atrás, ya no. Así que me puse a pensar en que podía tomar para compartir con ustedes, y me encontré una vieja blusa que quería modificar hace dos años atrás.

Since the challenge started I thought it was a great idea because it encourages us to dust off unfinished or unstarted work, I should be at the top of the list of those who leave many unfinished projects 😝😂 well I used to do that a few years ago, not anymore. So I got to thinking about what I could take to share with you, and I came across an old blouse I wanted to alter two years ago.

Está blusa me trajo mucha nostalgia pues era de mi abuela Carmen del valle, quien ya falleció, recuerdo que yo tomaba ropa que ella ya no usaba y las modificada para mí, mi abuela me dejó las mejores de las herencias mi pasión por la costura, ella era costura, y crecí viendola coser ya con unos añitos más comencé a practicar con retazos de tela que ella me daba y así fue como comenzó todo, la recuerdo con mucho amor.

This blouse brought me a lot of nostalgia because it belonged to my grandmother Carmen del Valle, who passed away, I remember that I took clothes that she no longer used and modified them for me, my grandmother left me the best of the best inheritance, my passion for sewing, she was a seamstress, and I grew up watching her sewing, when I was a few years older I began to practice with scraps of fabric that she gave me and that was how it all began, I remember it with much love.

Así que mejor manera de recordar y honrar a mi abuela que llevándole conmigo, aún que pienso modificar la blusa totalmente sabré de su origen y volar.

So what better way to remember and honor my grandmother than to take her with me, even though I plan to totally modify the blouse I will know of its origin and fly.
