Hola queridos Needleworkers, feliz domingo espero se encuentren de maravilla 🤗♥️ estoy muy feliz de estar por acá una vez más, les cuento que hace unas semanas atrás adquirí está tela de lino con un estampado que me encantó desde el momento en que lo ví, me dije en ese momento: "con esta tela voy hacer algo para mí", y aquí estoy hoy para mostrarles este lindo short de tiro alto que realicé para mí, el estampado de esta tela es de plátanos o bananas como gusten, acá le decimos cambur 🍌🍌🍌 pero es un estampado que me gustó mucho y terminé haciendo un lindo short con el, así que aquí les comparto mi paso a paso, espero les guste de verdad.

- Hilo verde olivo
- Alfileres
- Tijera
- Cinta métrica
- Elástica
- Un pantalón patrón
- Aguja y máquina de coser
- Half a meter of printed linen fabric
- Olive green thread
- Pins

Paso 1 || Step 1
Comenzamos doblando la tela en una superficie plana, colocamos pantalón patrón sobre la tela, vamos a cortar de la tela colocando el lado que más estira de dirección horizontal (en este caso está tela no estira casi nada); primero corté el lado delantero y luego voltee para costar el lado trasero, sacando así una sola pieza ya con el tiro delantero y trasero, cortamos dejando 1cm de margen de costura, también debemos agregar el doblez de las piernas y el de la pretina, para este pantalón necesitamos sacar dos piezas iguales para este pantalón.
We start by folding the fabric on a flat surface, we place the pattern pants on the fabric, we will cut the fabric placing the side that stretches more horizontally (in this case this fabric does not stretch almost nothing); first cut the front side and then turn to sew the back side, thus getting a single piece already with the front and back draft, we cut leaving 1cm seam allowance, we must also add the fold of the legs and the waistband, for this pants we need to get two equal pieces for this pants.
Paso 2 || Step 2
Después de tener la dos piezas cortadas, enfrentamos los derechos de las piezas. Luego cosemos los tiros del pantalón como te muestro en la imagen. Pasamos costura recta y luego zigzag para rematar la costura.
After having the two pieces cut, we face the right sides of the pieces. Then we sew the trouser straps as shown in the picture. We sew a straight seam and then zigzag to finish the seam.
Paso 3 || Step 3
Ahora abrimos las piezas y enfrentamos los tiros del pantalón, vamos a coser la entrepierna, primero sujeto las dos piezas con alfileres y luego cosí con costura recta y luego zigzag en el borde.
Vamos a coser también la orilla de las piernas, hice un doble doblez de medio centímetro cada uno, sujeté todo con alfileres para que se me hiciera más fácil al llevar a la máquina y pasé costura recta dos veces a modo de decoración.
Now we open the pieces and face the trouser legs, we are going to sew the crotch, first I pinned the two pieces together and then I sewed with a straight seam and then zigzagged the edge.
We are also going to sew the edge of the legs, I made a double fold of half a centimeter each, I pinned everything with pins to make it easier to take it to the machine and I sewed two straight seams twice as decoration.
Paso 4 || Step 4
Vamos a cortamos 42 centímetros de elástica y la cosemos en las puntas para formar un círculo, la forma en la que yo coso la elástica es la siguiente, divido este círculo de elástica en cuatro (los marco con alfileres) y luego voy a la pretina del pantalón y sujeto la elástica a la costura de los tiros y a las mitades del contorno de la cintura, cosemos la elástica con zigzag y vamos estirando hasta llegar a los cuatro puntos, la elástica va cosida en el revés del short, por último dobló hacia dentro o sea hacia el revés del short y vuelvo a pasar costura en zigzag.
We cut 42 centimeters of elastic and sew it at the ends to form a circle, the way I sew the elastic is as follows, I divide this circle of elastic in four (I mark them with pins) and then I go to the waistband of the pants and attach the elastic to the seam of the straps and to the halves of the waistband contour, I sew the elastic with zigzag and stretch it until we reach the four stitches, the elastic is sewn on the back of the shorts, finally I fold the elastic inwards or towards the back of the shorts and I sew again with zigzag stitching.
Paso 5 || Step 5
Para finalizar corté una tira de 3 cm de ancho y 70 cm de largo, la cosí al revés luego con un palito de madera la voltee y pise la costura con puntada recta, este será el cordón de la pretina, para introducirlo hice unos ojales en la cintura del pantalón y listo ya tenemos nuestro short listo.
To finish I cut a strip of 3 cm wide and 70 cm long, I sewed it inside out, then with a wooden stick I turned it over and stepped the seam with a straight stitch, this will be the drawstring of the waistband, to introduce it I made some eyelets in the waistband of the pants and now we have our shorts ready.
