Soy de la ciudad de Carúpano en el estado Sucre dónde se celebran los mejores carnavales internacionales de Venezuela.

Tengo ese hermoso recuerdo de mi niñez, ya que en mi familia era costumbre celebrar los carnavales, no es solo una fiesta de disfraces,es compartir con familiares, amigos y aunque parezca loco con desconocidos es una alegría contagiosa dónde reina la camaderia.

I have this beautiful memory of my childhood, since in my family it was customary to celebrate carnivals, it is not just a costume party, is to share with family, friends and although it seems crazy with strangers is a contagious joy where the camaraderie reigns.

Aqui en mi ciudad se acostumbra a realizar el desfile de las carrozas y comparsas por la emblemática calle Juncal saliendo desde la plaza Bolivar y el recorrido termina en la avenida perimetral en la concha acústica.

Here in my city it is customary to carry out the parade of floats and troupes along the emblematic Juncal street leaving from the Bolivar square and the route ends at the perimeter avenue in the acoustic shell.

Es costumbre para nosotros irnos temprano y llevarnos nuestras sillas para reunirnos en la calle Juncal o en la avenida a esperar que empiece el desfile del carnaval asi que nos preparamos con nuestra cava y nuestras bebidas y nos disfrazamos,en mi bello pueblo no se acostumbra a jugar carnaval con agua.

It is customary for us to go early and take our chairs to meet on Juncal street or on the avenue to wait for the carnival parade to start so we get ready with our cava and our drinks and we dress up, in my beautiful town it is not customary to play carnival with water.

Y mientras esperamos que empiece el desfile de las carrozas y comparsas entre músicas y risas y tragos compartimos con familiares amigos y temporadistas y nos tomamos fotos e invitamos al que este disfrazado a tomarse fotos con nosotros y es lo maravilloso del carnaval que sin conocernos formamos parte de una gran familia.

And while we wait for the parade of floats and troupes to begin, amidst music, laughter and drinks, we share with family, friends and tourists and we take pictures and invite whoever is in costume to take pictures with us, and that is the wonderful thing about carnival: without knowing each other, we are part of a big family.

Y de esta forma tan grata disfrutamos nuestros cuatro días de carnaval y es costumbre que el martes de carnaval luego que termina el desfile se le da la despedida al carnaval con los famosos fuegos pirotécnicos que se realizan desde la avenida en un mirador militar que esta alli

And in this pleasant way we enjoy our four days of carnival and it is customary that on Tuesday of carnival after the parade ends the carnival is given the farewell to the carnival with the famous fireworks that are made from the avenue in a military lookout that is there.
