The moment when it snowed in Ginza, Tokyo-Japan.

This is the moment I took on February 4, 2020. The location is in Ginza, Tokyo-Japan. The beauty of this area that I can feel when it snows. I'm sure you can feel it too just by looking at some of the photos I took and shared. In some countries there may be no snow, that's the reason I took this photo. I hope you guys like it.

Before continuing, I want to tell you a little information about GINZA.

Ginza is an area in Tokyo which is located south of Yaesu and Kyobashi, west of Tsukiji, east of Yrakucho and Uchisaiwaicho, or north of Shinbashi.

This area is known as a luxury area in Tokyo. There are various shops such as boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Ginza is known as one of the most luxurious shopping centers in the world. The main stores of elite fashion brands are here, Chanel, Dior, Abercrombie & Fitch, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. There is also a Sony showroom and an Apple Store Ginza. This area is called Ginza because this place used to have a silver coin mint built in 1612.

After the Tsukiji area burned down in 1872, the Meiji Government set the Ginza area as a model for modernization. The government initiated the construction of refractory brick buildings, and the construction of wider roads to connect Shinbashi Station and the foreign enclave of Tsukiji, as well as important government buildings.

The city plan for this area was designed by Irish-born architect Thomas Waters. Implementing the construction is the Contracting Bureau of the Ministry of Finance. The following year, a Western-style shopping promenade at Ginza was completed on the road between Shinbashi Bridge and Kyobashi Bridge in the southwest of Tokyo's Chuo district. Completed also built at that time in Ginza, a brick building in the style of Georgian architecture.

The buildings in Ginza's "brick city" were initially offered to interested buyers. But then these buildings can be rented. The high price caused some of these buildings to be empty of tenants. Even so, Ginza is already well-known as a symbol of "civilization and enlightenment" because this place also houses the offices of magazines and newspapers publishing news about the trends of the time.

Most of the European-style buildings have long since been demolished, and only a few of them remain. Among the most striking buildings in Ginza is the Wako Building topped by the Hattori Clock Tower. This building and clock tower was originally built by Kintaro Hattori, founder of the Seiko clock company.

A man named Kintaro Hattori founded Wako in 1881 ago under the name Hattori Tokeiten or which literally means Hattori Watch Shop, to sell various kinds of watches and jewelry imported from outside Japan. The current Wako Neo-Renaissance building was built in 1932, and is one of the few buildings in the area to survive World War II. Its clock tower, which still stands today, is an icon of the district, and Wako herself is the top shinise when it comes to Ginza.

For your information, in Japan it has 4 seasons, namely spring, autumn, summer, and winter or snow.

Winter lasts from December to February. So, if you want to experience winter in Japan, you can visit and vacation in December to February as I mentioned above.
