Tokyo is one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world which is currently in the spotlight of the world community. The capital city of Japan is currently busy hosting the 2020 Olympics, which will be attended by various countries around the world.

The capital of Japan was not originally Tokyo, but Kyoto. In the past, the capital of Japan was the residence of the emperor in the form of a palace.

At that time the capital and the emperor's palace always moved from place to place for various reasons, including because the buildings were not sturdy.

Emperor Kammu (781-806) moved from Nara to Heianko or Kyoto. Kyoto as the nation's capital lasted from 806-1868 until the Edo government.

Then around 1868 the Japanese capital moved to Tokyo. Although the capital of Japan moved to Tokyo, but Kyoto got the title as Saikyo or the capital of the West.

In its development, Tokyo divided its territory into two, namely mainland Tokyo which was located in the northwest of Tokyo Bay and the Islands which were located on the southeast side.

The Tokyo archipelago is surrounded by several islands 1,850 kilometers from the center of Tokyo. In the area can be found Fuji Hakone National Park and Mount Fuji.

Visiting the city of Tokyo we can find some beautiful tourist attractions, one of which is Shibuya. Shibuya is one of the economic centers in the city of Tokyo which consists of a row of clothing shops, cafes and restaurants.

This area is known as a hangout place for young people to just hang out and hunt for clothes and culinary. Shinjuku is also a place to hunt for various drinks and food.
