I lost the job!

I lost my job. After 3 days of hard work and earning $120 within that period, my partner and I got witch-hunted by one of the admins and we were kicked off the team. Although we made a few mistakes in the beginning, however, they weren’t worth being kicked out, at least that’s what the HR person told us.

We got started on the job last Friday and after 3 days of back-breaking work, our account got paused due to a few mistakes my partner made. Following protocol, we went through another training session and completed a number of practice tests which we passed and were then brought back on the team.

However, within this period, the admin in charge of our team told the HR who recruited us that he wanted us out. He didn’t specify why he wanted us out, he just said we were making mistakes, which she told him was completely normal but he simply said he wanted us out.

Right after our re-training, he got us back on the team and then kicked us out finally over a mistake that was made before we had the training. He absolutely did not want us to continue and he couldn’t even tell us why.

I felt really upset about the whole situation but let it slide because my partner got us back on a different team. We’re currently going through the training but this one seems a lot harder than the previous one. My hopes are that after the last mistake, we’ll be a lot more careful moving forward.

I understand that due to the projects my partner and I have ahead of us, he’s a little too eager to make as much money as possible but I’ve tried to calm him down with some assurance that we’ll achieve our goals.

I’m both scared and eager to see how things pan out over the next few months because they’re what will determine our fate. As always, wish me luck!

Mistakes are inevitable in any workplace or field. I guess the admin isn’t the forgiving type to judge you on past mistakes that shouldn’t affect you now.

You and your partner will have to move on now that you’re on another team. I wish you luck on the new team and achieving your goals.
