Welcome to my tropic| Review of the game Trópico 4
Who at some point in their life has not wished to be president of a country? Either to help his people or to become a millionaire at the expense of resources that are alien as the vast majority of politicians. In this opportunity I come to leave you my opinion about a title that I am playing at the moment and I must say that it is very addictive, just as I expected. This game is Tropico 4, personally I would say that it is a strategy game, where you have to manage your own paradise, if you can....
This game is based on managing a caribbean island politically, economically and socially. A game that I definitely always wanted to play since I am a fan of strategy games both Empire Age and Warcraft saga and I could not miss World in Conflict each of these with different styles but exceptional in its genre. In the case of Tropico 4 it goes even further, although perhaps in this game there is no melee combat or a lot of action, you may find it a bit boring, however I play it from the point of view of overcoming.
As I said before, in this game you are the leader of an island and you have to do everything possible so that your citizens live well and you can be reelected in the elections that take place, although it is your decision whether to become a "democrat and respect all the rules of the game" or become a "dictator and not respect the elections and make repression on your island", however, every decision you make will have both a positive and negative impact on your image as president, both in your followers and in your opponents.
In this game you have to deal with your opponents who are nine factions: The nationalists who oppose immigrants, the militarists who because of low wages and lack of supporters are those who could make rebellions and terrorist acts, there are also the capitalists who are the rich and enterprising of the island (it should be noted that if their demands are not met will begin to resort to theft to make money and steal a good part of all income of the nation), on the other hand we have the communists, The religious (led by Reverend Esteban), The environmentalists who will be your fierce enemies if you do not make good environmental preservation policies (with them you can not exploit mineral mines or oil and you have to control pollution to earn the respect of the environmentalists), The intellectuals are very progressive and are always against the policies that are taken in favor of the religious, and finally we have the loyalists being a faction that is always loyal to the President.
Considering the factions you have to deal with and try to make them happy as well as the population, you have to try to maintain good relations with the "superpowers" where we can find the United States, the Soviet Union, China, the Middle East and Europe, obviously each of them have their own interests and it is up to you to ally yourself to one of them or be neutral at all times.
Also what you have to do as president is to choose your ministerial cabinet, since with them it will be easier for you to govern your people and dictate decrees to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants. From my point of view, it is a very complete game in its style, if you ask me what could be changed or added, I would say that battles at the time of a rebellion or an invasion.
Truly a 1000% recommended game for those who have not played it yet and for those who do not like this kind of games I recommend you to venture just once with this title and you will see that you will have a good time of addiction.
¿Quién en algún momento de su vida no ha deseado ser presidente de un país? Ya sea para ayudar a su gente o para hacerte millonario a costa de recursos que son ajenos como la gran mayoría de los políticos. En esta oportunidad le vengo a dejar mi opinión sobre un título que estoy jugando en este momento y cabe decir que es muy adictivo, tal y como lo esperaba. Este juego es Trópico 4, en lo personal diría que es un juego de estrategia, donde tienes que gestionar tu propio paraíso, si es que puedes…
Este juego se basa en dirigir una isla del caribe tanto política, económica y socialmente. Un juego que en definitiva siempre quise jugar ya que soy fan de los juegos de estrategias tanto de la saga de Empire Age como de la de Warcraft y no podía faltar World in Conflict cada uno de estos con estilos diferentes pero excepcionales en su género. En el caso de trópico 4 va más allá, aunque quizás en este no hayan combates cuerpo a cuerpo o mucha acción quizás te parezca un poco aburrido, sin embargo yo lo juego desde el punto de vista de la superación.
Como dije anteriormente, en este juego eres el líder de una isla y tienes que hacer todo lo posible para que tus ciudadanos vivan bien y puedas ser reelegido en las elecciones que se llevan a cabo, aunque es tu decisión si convertirte en un “demócrata y respetar todas las reglas del juego” o hacerte “dictador y no respetar las elecciones y hacer represión en tu isla”, sin embargo, cada decisión que tomes tendrá una repercusión tanto positiva como negativa en tu imagen de presidente, tanto en tus seguidores como en tus oponentes.
En este juego tienes que lidiar con tus adversarios que son nueve facciones: Los nacionalistas quienes se oponen a los inmigrantes, Los militaristas quienes por los bajos salarios y la falta de partidarios son quienes podrían hacer rebeliones y actos terroristas, también se encuentran los capitalistas que son los ricos y emprendedores de la isla ( cabe destacar que si no se cumplen sus exigencias comenzarán recurrir al robo para hacer dinero y robar una buena parte de todos los ingresos de la nación), por otro lado tenemos a los comunistas, Los religiosos (liderada por el reverendo Esteban), Los ambientalistas quienes serán tus enemigos férreos sino haces buenas políticas de preservación ambiental (con ellos no podrás explotar minas de minerales ni petróleo y tienes que controlar la polución para ganarte el respeto de los ambientalistas), Los intelectuales son muy progresistas y siempre están en contra de las políticas que se tomen a favor de los religiosos, y por ultimo tenemos a los leales siendo una facción que siempre es leal a El Presidente.
Teniendo en cuenta las facciones con las que tienes que lidiar y tratar de hacerlas felices así como también a la población, tienes que tratar de mantener buenas relaciones con las “superpotencias” donde podemos encontrar a los Estados Unidos, La Unión Soviética, China, El Oriente Medio y Europa, obviamente cada uno de ellos tienen sus propios intereses y ya está de tu parte en aliarte a uno de ellos o ser neutral en todo momento.
También lo que tienes que hacer como presidente es elegir tu gabinete ministerial, ya que con ellos se te hará más fácil gobernar a tu gente y dictar decretos para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes. Desde mi parecer, es un juego muy completo en su estilo, si me preguntarían ¿qué se pudiera cambiar o agregar? dijera que batallas a al momento de una rebelión o de una invasión.
De verdad un juego 1000% recomendado para los que aún no lo han jugado y a los que no les gustan este tipo de juegos le recomiendo que se aventuren sola una vez con este título y verán que tendrán un buen rato de adicción.
