[ESP-ING] Merry Christmas to all - Celebrating with the family

La navidad ha llegado y en casa todos nos preparamos para su llegada, la víspera de navidad siempre nos reunimos en familia para celebrar la llegada de la navidad recordando el nacimiento del niño Jesús, ese nacimiento por el cual nosotros tenemos el regalo de ser hijos de Dios, además de ser una época para compartir en familia, de descansar y de mucha alegría familiar, ya que podemos reunirnos y planificar una cena.

Hoy en día muchos de la familia ya no están unos porque emigraron del país y otros que están fuera de este plano terrenal, sin embargo a todos se les recuerda con amor y cariño, dando gracias a Dios por sus vida y por haber tenido la oportunidad de conocerles a los que ya se fueron, en navidad en Venezuela a las 12 de la noche se habla de la llegada del niño Jesús o de Santa Claus quien trae regalos a los niños, es una costumbre que ha quedado, ya los chicos están grandes pero la entrega de regalos quedó como herencia.

En casa decidimos que todos en navidad nos damos un regalo, a las 11pm del 24 de diciembre decidimos cenar, nuestro plato navideño, hallacas, ensalada de gallina, pan de jamón y un delicioso muchacho, esta es una de las cenas favoritas para celebrar noche buena, pronto algunas de estas recetas, y de postre claro la torta de chocolate que pueden verla en mi último post.

Luego de la cena a las 12 nos damos la feliz navidad y luego procedemos a la entrega de regalos, esta vez estuvo divertido mi hijo comenzó con su entrega y sus regalos fueron muy hermosos, a mi me rallo una braga hermosa que me encantó, mi esposo me regalo una franela y mi hija unos lindos detalles hechos a mano, teníamos visita esa noche y lamentamos que no teníamos nada que darle como regalo, pero lo atendimos muy bien, el quedó encantado de compartir por primera vez una noche buena con nosotros.

Mi suegro también la paso muy bien ya que el le gusta hablar mucho de su vida cuando comparte y está vez fue bastante escuchado, también obtuvo un regalo de parte de la familia y estaba muy contento, ahora veremos que será el 31 de diciembre que creo que compartiremos en casa de unos amigos queridos, pasamos una gran noche buena reunidos en familia que es lo más importante en está fecha, doy gracias a Dios por ello.

Christmas has arrived and at home we are all preparing for its arrival. On Christmas Eve we always get together as a family to celebrate the arrival of Christmas, remembering the birth of the baby Jesus, that birth through which we have the gift of being children of God. It is also a time for sharing with the family, for resting and for much family joy, as we can get together and plan a dinner.

Today, many members of the family are no longer with us because they emigrated from the country and others are no longer of this earthly plane. However, we remember them all with love and affection, giving thanks to God for their lives and for having had the opportunity to know those who are no longer with us. At Christmas in Venezuela, at midnight, we talk about the arrival of the baby Jesus or Santa Claus, who brings gifts to the children. It is a custom that has remained, even though the children are now grown up, but the giving of gifts has remained as a tradition.

At home, we decided that everyone would give each other a gift at Christmas. At 11 p.m. on 24 December, we decided to have dinner, our Christmas dish, hallacas, chicken salad, ham bread and a delicious muchacho. This is one of our favourite dinners to celebrate Christmas Eve. Soon, I will share some of these recipes, and for dessert, of course, the chocolate cake that you can see in my last post.

After dinner at midnight, we wish each other a Merry Christmas and then proceed to exchange gifts. This time it was fun. My son started with his gifts, and they were very beautiful. He gave me a beautiful pair of knickers that I loved. My husband gave me a flannel shirt, and my daughter gave me some lovely handmade gifts. We had a visitor that night, and we were sorry we didn't have anything to give him as a gift, but we took good care of him, and he was delighted to spend Christmas Eve with us for the first time.

My father-in-law also had a great time, as he likes to talk a lot about his life when he is with others, and this time he was listened to a lot. He also received a gift from the family and was very happy. Now we will see what happens on 31 December, which I think we will spend at the home of some dear friends. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve together as a family, which is the most important thing on this date, and I thank God for that.
